If someone insults me, it usually means they're insecure in some way or another and have a silly need to feel better than others. Or they're just a miserable person. Or simply a nasty, immoral person. If I say anything, I say something to make it apparent that I consider them to be the one with the problem, not me. I simply criticise their behaviour with ''What kind of person do you think being rude and nasty like that makes you?'' or if It's apparent they don't care then ''Oh I'm sorry you're in a bad mood or having trouble in life that you need to have a go at me to feel a flicker a happiness''.

I honestly try not to grudge them but rather have sympathy on them and hope they find peace. I might say a prayer for them that they'll find happiness, in a sincere way, not to be condescending.

Go the office and get their parents' phone number; call them to fucking learn how to raise kids right.

Well, it's their fault that they'll be dealing with a relentless sadist-esque person. I've never reached that breaking point yet, so thank goodness.

I have no reason to lower myself to their level, so I mostly ignore them or nod and leave. It drives them crazy.

I laugh it off and have a good day just by thinking of how pathetic they must be of having to pick on people to prove themselves.
