Hammer Flip is the same thing as the Hammer, it's just a new name.

It's been a while since I've watched the videos for the game so I thought it was something else when I heard the name (I believe something like his neutral A in the air, just with a hammer going 'round instead). Probably would have made that move a lot better.

Is a new character going to announced today?

hammer flip, and the hammer move are 2 different attacks, from two different abilities too. (hammer flip from hammer, hammer attack thing is from smash) hammer flip, also, is a press and hold attack, unlike this hammer attack.

It's essentially the same thing but you can charge it now.
Kirby has an amazing up throw now too.

Kirby is such an OP character.
Its attacks are incredible
Plus, it takes a move from a player's character when Kirby swallows them, and then Kirby can use that move.

which is why kirby is awesome. while he is over-powered, he's not nearly as over-powered as metaknight, even though I never lose to anyone playing as metaknight. His most USELESS attack has to be his rock attack, as its only useful if you're directly above your target. his most useful attack has to be his hammer, like in every kirby game. Hammers, proven by both kirby and mario, are extremely OP.
(also, NEVER call kirby an "it." he's a boy.)

Guys Nintendo announced there is going to be a Rayman trophy in the game! Does this mean the new character is Rayman?

I never thought of Kirby as an OP character considering most of his attacks don't do that much damage, he's light and be KO'd easily, his down A doesn't have good meteor smash potential without players being at a high damage (and has a huge start up that you have to time perfectly), and his hammer/swallow ability doesn't have that great of a range, and his up B recovery is very limited when off the stage.

There's a lot of downsides to Kirby that need to be balanced out by having decent attacks and kill potential if played right. I don't think Kirby's a hard character to play but I'd say one of the harder ones to adapt too.

Also kinda disappointed about the character reveal, I mean I already knew one of them was getting in but the other new one was kinda meh.

They didn't have to confirm Captain Falcon before the game released. He'd still be in, like all the other unannounced veterans we won't see till then. Just like with...I dunno... Brawl?

We need metaknight back. He made the game awesome, and added some challenge to it. He, as a nasty CPU, was actually pretty easy to beat... they NEED to add metaknight back (even though I never use him, he should be back. the SSB series needs more kirby characters!)
