Pro - professional, for whoever wonders.
Pros aren't always mean. Most of the ones that are are rude teens who play as mad and do get somehow skilled, and they just discover rude words and don't know their meaning.

There's the Ignore option, as Shinark said. How sad there is a limit of 500...

Pro= someone that makes profit of a game IMHO, nobody gets anything for being pro here, so no pros in this game (the trolling is strong here)

Pro comes from "professional player", at least here, and means someone who is good at a game. At least here.

Not to be racist or discriminate against anyone, but I've seen alot more of the bullying and mean players within the Brazilian community. Great stats or not, they are terrible! :( They call everyone trash, noobs, every name you can think of. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Back to just plain "pros" being rude, the only person I have seen with a bad attitude 24/7 and has 30k+ firsts is -removed-. He constantly puts people down and thinks its funny to make fun.

[Sentinel] Let's try not to single people out, even if they are being rude.

Most of the players with a bad attitude are the stat padders, not really the actual pros. Also, the guy in the screenshot was probably just joking lol

Prr a dit :

There's a totally different issue underlying this. 99% of the random messages the people who are in popular tribes get are about people wanting to join the tribe (usually in a very spammy manner). It's certainly no image of being better than others, it's just that it really isn't worth of it to respond to 100 messages just to not seem rude towards the one person that actually has something meaningful to say. That, and, as far as us old-timers go, we're always afk.

That's also the thing with saying "thank you" to every gj a competitive player gets. It's just tiresome (your last message is the same spam yay) and it feels especially silly when you yourself feel that you didn't do a good job at all, despite getting a first or a decent time in bootcamp. Then again saying "naw, that was awful, I can do much better" will seem just arrogant. It's just easier to not say anything.

I realize that maybe the top 50 on cfm might get a lot of spam, but I have seen people way under(over) this rank that still gets recognized as pro, and can not be bothered to answer people. Even in a top 10 tribe I can not imagine it being as bad. I was in The Diamond Micehood for a total time of over 2 years and I was never bothered with extreme spam. Yes there were a couple of messages a day, but nothing that could not be answered.I also understand that many "pros" are afk a lot of the time, but many of them do not answer even while clearly not afk. And there is no shame in answering some minutes later. Also why be afk if you are not planning to respond to anything that happens while afk, might as well just log of to avoid people thinking you are rude.

The second point is also what I would consider kind of rude. Here someone is making an effort to be nice to you and you think it is too much effort to be nice back. I know saying thanks after things like a ping race or just some lucky thing might seem weird, but the people saying gj are still just trying to be nice, and saying a variation of ty/thanks every time does not take that much effort.

However it is all up to the pros themselves how they want to be, just my opinion on it,

Most pros are really nice, but it's the people who think that they're pro and act all snobby that annoy me. Or the others that are maybe popular in a room who act like they can boss everyone around.
But arguing with them won't benefit anyone, as it'll only make them worse because you're giving them attention. The only thing you can do is press ignore, then show off your own "proness." ^_^

Most of pros are pretty nice but I met some true jerks.
I made this new account because I got bored of the old one, and some jerk starts hacking. I told him "STOP IT NOOB" and he said he was much proer than me in stats. Stats don't matter, the dude didn't even know to build without the help of hack, and he thinks he's "pro".

Assuming that we're talking about being pro with stats
Rank 460,679 of 50,573,718 is not considered "pro" so I don't think it technically applies here..

In my opinion, the pro people who don't respond to messages and come off as rude aren't really, I think people are actually just expecting them to be stuck up and so the slightest thing they do wrong is taken very badly
For example, I remember once I played in a room with Eddiesti in it. Every double sham map anyone else got where they battled and one died, nobody said a word. The second Eddiesti was a double sham and killed the other one, everyone immediately started spamming the chat
"RUDE SHAM, YOU HAVE ENOUGH STATS! YOU SHOULD HAVE LET HIM GO AND KILLED YOURSELF!!"
Had Eddiesti been less pro with his stats, things like that would not be a problem, but I know a few people who think he's rude to this day just for that.
Any people I'd consider "pro" (my friends with 10,000+ firsts) are actually not rude unless they're joking with friends.
So no, in my opinion, pro people are generally not rude. I've come across more people with low stats who are rude as compared to pros. Of course some pros are rude occasionally, and some not so pro are too. It really depends on the person, not the stats.

That happening so people mostly calling to the shaman like examples '' NOOB SHAMAN'' then pro player feeling doesn't stop calling to the new player and we're new player doesn't know how to anything as possibly and I think they are not bullying and pro player was bad in mood once in my opinion.

^ Firsts makes you pro. Lolnope.

Calling pro only players with lots of firsts (Without considering ratios) is kinda meh IMHO.

I'm good with being called noob (my ratio is like...6%) but being able to solve a shaman map without any problem

You can't expect everyone in this world to be nice, even if they've bad attitude, that doesn't concern anyone who isn't close to them.

Also, this is internet, those who might look like they're rude to everyone, could actually be good persons but they don't show it, because again, it's internet and everything here is misinterpreted.

I don't see how not replying to randoms in a room/whispers is really something that'd make you rude. I'm one of those people that when I play the game or I'm just sitting in the editor I only really want to talk to friends and I don't pay attention to anything but tribe chat and whispers.

I hate to say but you aren't entitled to a reply from skilled or any kind of player for that matter and just because you don't get a reply isn't really a reason to assume they're rude, stuck-up, or anything along the lines of it.

I can understand it a bit more if they're talking in room chat having a good time with friends or something but that doesn't mean what I said above still doesn't apply. If they don't reply then they just don't, I'm sure they have their reasoning.
