I 100% agree with this.

You can't just go and say it's their problem, we all have to be here for each other. The offensive comics weren't the wisest of decisions, no, but nor were the killings.

Plus, innocent people were killed, not just people who were part of the company.

I agree that it can happen at any time. In fact where ever you live most likely already has terrorists. If you live in the U.S it is already victim to terrorist attacks, many of which there were more than 20 lives erased in mere minutes.

It's arrogant to say it's solely France's problem because if we let a few terrorists get away without getting on the world news then other terrorists will be under the impression that they are free to kill anyone and everyone anywhere and everywhere.

Also I don't think you understand the situation correctly. It is their job to make comics about religion, people, and events. The purpose of making fun of religion is because they try to find a type of humor for everyone to expand interests and profit. If you have seen Family Guy or something alike then you can't expect them to remove all their jokes about race and religions because then it wouldn't interest as many people thus causing a large decrease in profit. If you haven't noticed, money runs the world, as pessimistic as it seems, without money you are practically screwed in life.

Okay if you shoot them think about what people will think of your religion. They will think; barbaric, uncivilized, violent, possibly satanic, murder-harboring, despicable religion. I don't think you'd want that. Islam already looks horrible due to previous terrorist attacks by so called "muslims". If you started shooting at people who made fun of it it'd look even worse than it already looks. It would also add to the confirmation of Islam being a supposedly "evil" religion which it is not.
