Eh, all it really takes is for a good game to come out. As far as consoles go I'd say the Wii U is still pretty young.

I saw the three-pack at Target, I could've gotten it, but I don't even have the game. So the Splat Zones are supposedly extremely difficult to win and are "unfair"? I even saw it compared to Dark Souls. Wow.

It's harder then the normal battles because you have to ink only a certain section on the map. Kind of like King of the Hill, but ti doesn't move. The only unfair part is when the other time uses the tornado special. It basically takes over the whole section. (That's actually what I use too so xD)

The majority of the time if you lose it is a blackout which means you earn nothing.

I'd just say the "meta" hasn't really developed yet, it looked pretty fair from when I was watching someone stream it. They won some and lost some but it seemed to come down to tactic and skill, at least trying to control that part of the map and zoning the enemy from it (which seems to be what the game is about).

I can see the Tornado's being annoying, but you can't say you don't have the tools to do it too..

I think I like the normal battles more though. Not cause the other one is harder, but it is just more fun to ink the whole area and not just one.

I went to look for Amiibos today as well, couldn't find a single one for Splatoon. Also noticed the game is sold out here so hopefully somewhere will have it when I'm ready to get it.

I've noticed that amiibos sell out pretty fast. Every SINGLE time. Not the case for the UK, but I think you would get what i'm saying. I only have a Mario amiibo ;-;. Nintendo, y u no make more amiibos?

The only reason I'd ever want the Splatoon three-pack is for the Inkling Squid's badass robot armor thing.

Well, those are easy to find. I'm talking about amiibos like, Marth, Pac-Man, Samus, etc.

I haven't seen Marth or Pac-Man, but I have seen a few Samus where I live. Link is pretty hard to find too.

I saw a Toon Link, Pikachu, Mario, Zelda, and I think Luigi too? Then there were Mario Party amiibos which no one wants.

(Steering back the topic to Slatoon since there's a thread for Amiibos) The robot looking armor is pretty cool looking but I didn't think it was from the Amiibos. I don't think I'll ever be able to get all of it though just because.

Well, it WOULD be nice to have something the Mario amiibo can do that's actually cool and unique...

Considering it's a Mario Party Amiibo (I know it doesn't really make a difference), it would give people a reason to buy the Mario Amiibo. It'd just be cool if Fludd was a weapon reskin though, that'd be pretty neat as a little Easter egg.

Other than that, Mario characters wouldn't really fit into Splatoon.. They'd stick out like a sore thumb and it would look kinda awkward. I'm fine with getting unique items from these Amibos though (Mario Hat, Luigi hat, etc).
