Gatwick has been evacuated for a "suspect package", in the south of Bruxelles there's a big operation that lead to the arrest of a terrorist cell linked to yesterday's facts, Rome is almost militarized due to the incoming Jubileum, of course everyone's mind is in Paris now, but this affects other cities and countries too.

In my country there was a huge event, and we we're scared too. But people didn't die.

things like this are most of the time inevitable. even though a peaceful world would be lovely, it will never happen.

The thing of it is though, everyone always does this during terror attacks? It's not a new thing. Everyone went on high alert after 9/11, the London bombings, et cetera. Tensions are typically high, and for good reason -- so of course the small things cause a big tizzy.
Also, according to this there's no link between the package and the attack.

I've been mourning over this. It's so sad to see people are heartless to take so many lives.. I don't really pray but my heart is broken :(

We all stood together when New York (my home town) was hit. 9/11 was another memorable day where everyone came together and lit our colors.

We stand together today and the rest of the year together, as we help France recover from this horrible attack! We love you, Paris; France; and Rome. We love you, France! <3

What happened in Paris is tragic indeed.
We also have to remember though that several people's lives are taken unfairly on a daily basis in other countries as well. Israel has had over 750 terrorist attacks in the past 2 months. In the month of October alone, 4215 have died in the Syrian War, including many children. Little had been made of these by the public then in comparison to what has occurred recently.
So as well as focusing on a situation that we can understand and relate to, we should give others a little thought as well. It is a problem that not only faced by Paris, but the rest of the world too.
The events in Paris have really been devastating, and I empathise with those who has lost someone. But let us also extend our prayers, not only just for Paris, but for all the nations.
