Yes it does. It depends on what you love about it.

Either way, whatever the person loves about the show, doesn't mean it's wrong for them to love it.

But the reason why you love it could be wrong.

That could easily be said about any other show.
You're into 90's cartoons, right? What if I told you it was wrong to watch them because of (the dumbest reason, just an example) the fact that it's 2016 and there are loads new cartoons to watch?

You enjoy whatever you enjoy watching on TV.
If you like it, you like it. Don't go putting other people down on that.

First you applied a reason why your wrong not why its just wrong. Second it depends on the person reason why. Like for EX. What if someone loves the show cause it makes them hard (sorry for example). Then that's just wrong. If they love the show cuz it entertains them then thats OK. Like I said it depends (Probably on the person and why they're watching it).

You let other people handle themselves.
Not everybody has to justify a reason for why they like something, especially if it's a personal one such as that.
As much as I doubt that it happens, I won't entirely doubt it because hey, there are always those few people out there.
They do them, you go off and take care of yourself and pay them no mind.
As long as Disney is getting ratings for the show so they can continue the series for fans- that's all what really matters.

there's nothing wrong with backstory/universe expansion. look at mega-universes like star trek and star wars and the mcu. one could easily argue we dont need another star wars movie or another avengers flick but well....

Hopefully! He's my favourite lion next to Kiara and he was the cutest cub in the second movie!

Oh, it didn't get out of hand. Simply was defending/stating a few facts about the show for the eyes of those who are close minded.

I believe that the first powerful girl was enough. The anime and the new series are unneeded imo but I still watch it (usually compare it to the orignal series). Plus lately ppg reboot has been kinda annoying...

I'm just saying that 3 movies were enough and a series was so unneeded.

This isn't the first set of animated Disney films to do this however.
There's Aladdin, Tarzan, The Little Mermaid, and Lilo & Stitch who have gotten 3 movies each and a TV series from their franchise.
It's nothing new. This is just The Lion King's second TV series that's been produced, in which a lot of people are forgetting that it's the second because we had Timon & Pumbaa.

It's not really unneeded if Disney found a need to make another series.
