Now all the players will be able to change their usernames for free, which is really horrible. How is this even a good idea and acceptable?

Also it would be uncomfortable and problematic to find someone with the same name as yours. Pretty sure most of the players would prefer their names to be unique. Instead they could just remove all the inactive accounts that have never been used hence freeing up all the names.

This system is just horrible and they should either roll back this stupid idea or atleast refund the fraises for the mice who resetted their names.. I swear this game so close to dying

Even now my "fans" are creating stuffs like Deifa_v, Braifavy, Deifavy12, etc. and acting like it's me, can't even imagine 10 of my versions flooding the cafe
And ew, if I ever wanted to be Deifavy#0000, I would've named myself Deifavy0000, those numbers to originally created nicks are just unnecessary
Stop killing this game with dumb updates, it's not our fault that someone can't think of a nick, why to ruin our nicks then

Overall, very very bad idea

My biggest concern with this is impersonation. It's true that we can just check the tags, but a lot of people are so used to the idea of not having to check someone's profile to see if they're 'real.' And even so, how are we supposed to know the original tag for someone who isn't a mod or admin? I think it's ridiculous all around.

Someone made the point of other websites having unique usernames for each and every user without a single person sharing a username, making impersonation much more difficult. I'd suggest using lowercase first letters, higher character limit, and dashes. I'm not sure how possible that is, but it definitely sounds like a better solution than this.

Also, as someone with a billion alts, I'm in absolutely no favor of this 'unique email' thing. lmao

I don't like the idea at all. A better solution would be deleting old accounts that have barely played.

Bad idea, very unnecessary.
I'd say we remove the accounts from 2010-2012 who haven't played in 5 years, and have less than 5 days of gamplay time. Considering the total amount of accounts made is a little under 90,000,000, this would easily free up 1,000s up potential names.
We also need to increase the letter count from 14 to at most 16, this will greatly increase the possibility of new names.
*less likely suggestion* Maybe we could get about 3-6 mice to volunteer and try to think of of original, catchy, and "cool" names for new players. (I mean I would volunteer for that)

Maybe we don't even have to remove the accounts and just rename them to Mouse# but just mouse is in some random obscure or extinct language. Like Asin# or Logosen# (the hashtag just means a random number.)

I do find it kinda scary most people lost faith in this update not coming. It's just like "Oh here are some suggestions that will fix the problem a lot better than what they will add to the game but OH WELL the admins n' such just won't listen,darn; shucks." I don't think the Admins and company's ignorance shouldn't be treated so nonchalantly in this semi-popular online game.

im seriously losing the mood to play any of their games anymore. they are ruining everything. there is no way this update could be good. there will be tons of players with same names and you have to remember the tag numbers and you can easily get confused. this is horrible honestly.. i dont wanna play anymore

they also ripped us all off by just giving people free nickname changes now. and we all paid 1500 fraises before.

and this update cant be good in any way seriously. the majority of people already dislikes it. yes its cool how you can take any name you want, but its not a good update because people will get confused all the time and wont know who is who. they will need to keep remembering the numbers next to names. as i already said. and the tags with numbers just dont fit anywhere, they look bad. i was already losing mood to play this game because of event updates and how the game isnt getting proper attention. and now i just lost the mood to play completely. anyone can easily copy my nickname or anyone else's nickname and do what they want with it. people can as well just make inappropriate names like this, as much as they want basically. which just complicates the whole thing more for moderators. this should seriously be removed. if you are trying to kill your game you are doing it right. im out.

and apparently i cant even change my nickname back to one of MY nicknames, or else it will still be a different number next to my name like the nickname wasnt even mine and like im just a copy of someone, which isnt fair at all. i want my nicknames back to stay 0000 original.
