Tea_mouse a dit :
Here are the main issues of Transformice in no particular order that I think are contributing to its slow and painful death (and potential solutions) that have existed for years but apparently still are not being solved:

  • Flawed moderation and rules: mod corruption has been a common rumor and concern in the community. If Atelier makes the whole gist of being a mod more transparent, along with the selection process being a little more transparent, I feel like the community would trust the moderators more.

The mod corruption issue goes all the way back to when this game first started. (not exactly 2010, but shortly after)

I would say the current application system is too easy to lie to. Of course, any application Atelier comes up with will probably be easy to lie to. But I think I have an idea that could make things easier, rather than making people full-on moderators immediately,

I haven't played this game in a while, but from whenever I did play I know the biggest problem was favoritism. There was no application, it was just for formality. Mods aren't made "full-on moderators" immediately. From what I remember is they're made into arbitures which are "secret mods".

The moderation system in this game has been scrutinized all the way back to when I started. It seems like it's gotten a little bit better especially after removing all the inactive accounts, I remember seeing names that were inactive for over a year. Of course there's life events and mods aren't responsible for playing everyday, but if you know you can't give a few hours of your time then maybe step down? I know they're always welcome back to the team so why not just remove them if they've been inactive for say 90 days?

Anyway another topic, I feel like TFM had the opportunity to improve and attract more players with the pandemic but failed to take the opportunity to make the modifications, advertise, and basically give TFM another chance. To me, the games seemed dead since 2018.

Cart a dit :
this game sucks because cafe has a limit for cheese now

like Idk I really was gonna come abck and buy fraises to support but then seeing u need cheese now to even talk on cafe irked me ad rlly made me mad
and I have tried to recover my account that has like 1000+ cheese like idk how many times now and I get ignored

The Cafe has always had a cheese limit, when it was first made it had a limit of 400 cheese. It was only raised to 1000 cheese + 30 hours ingame recently.
Try reading the Password Lost tab here and fill out all the information needed on the contact form. Keep in mind, it may take around two weeks to get a response, maybe a bit longer because Atelier 801 has only Meli and Tig right now.

the overmoderation of some things (such as banning for macros n such, usually falsely) is part of the issue, especially when the mods wont confront the blatant toxicity and the constant use of slurs which would normally cause a ban at least in other games, usually ends in an hour mute or less which has ended up traumatizing potential players and running potential players away. I feel like wisteriamoon getting unfairly banned was the beginning of the playerbase starting to fall even if there was a massive spike of players in 2017, a lot of those players dont play anymore and while i agree that macros should be banned i also feel that they are the least of the problems in the game and the staff need to confront a lot of the bigotry in game.

i have nothing against the staff and while i have an appreciation for them i also believe they can do better.

Its definitely not dead right now, but I wonder if it'll survive the great migration from flash.
