My question exactly. I have a tribe logo, but I don't know what a banner is.

Something like that, the logo is similar to a banner. and if you want to know how to place a banner, I'll list some steps below:
So how to place a tribe banner in a forum post, it's very simple to do.:
-So you can make your tribe banner (you can use a different website for this to make it)

-Take a snapshot of the banner
-Use a website to convert the photo into a png (or other link), I use imgur for my image links
-Use the following code [img][/img], then put the code inbetween the tags
-If you would like to adjust where your banner is at, click the down arrow next to the photograph and pick one of the options that appear, you can either use: [img align=left][/img], [img align=right][/img], or [img align=center][/img]

When you select a color to put in it automatically inserts the color code. You can find the color you want in a color wheel someplace else, copy the color code, and paste it in there.
