Spikes aren't even rare in the first place. Everyone has them.

Quantity isnt just what makes rarity. Popularity also makes things rarer. Which is why black ( Besides magenta ) is the rarest spike, because it is popular.

are you sure it's not considered rare anymore?? spikes are like the base rarity of the entire game. it's true that they shouldn't be rare because there's so many but according to the community they look good on almost every animal. (i honestly think diamond shop spikes are more rare)

they sure do look good on animals, and yeah, almost the entirety of aj thinks they're rare but i dont consider them rare because of how many there are now. it's like a trend that everyone's been following now for a long time, but overall i think people should realize that there are many more items that can look good with outfits and appreciate them as well, rather than just spikes and headdresses and founders etc (these are very great but my point is, there is so much more to try other than those items and i think we should stop treating them like they're some sort of obsession). sorry that i didnt make my wording clear enough x)

i also used to die for the diamond shop spikes omg.. especially the silver one

i agree. but i think a fair majority of players that have headdresses only like them for their rarity. i want a red and cream one because they're the most appealing to me but they're like 4+ black longs and i don't even have a good long. guess i gotta farm in the forgotten desert but it gets boring and repetitive after a while, especially if you get nothing good. i'd honestly rather play lucky clovers because you can play it 5 times and have a fair chance of getting a wrist.

the only good item i recieved so far in the forgotten deserts was an orange long wrist, which was ages ago before my membership ended, but you're right. it gets pretty boring after a few times. i might also give lucky clovers a try :o

speaking of headdresses i used to have that one. it looked very decent on my arctic wolf so i decided to keep it for a while, but sadly my younger self was so gullible and i ended up trading it for a dark brown beard + yellow long wrist not too long ago after that.

you'll have to wait until march tho, it's a seasonal adventure. the best item i've gotten was an orange long but i don't know what i traded it for, since that was last year. i also look at videos of people opening their best prizes and i'm like what kind of luck do you have to get a black long.

but if you really really want one, you have to add atleast a second spike bc people like accepting overtrades

I haven't played in a while but unless it went up big time, I remember rim hd being worth only one good long and people accepted so I don't think there is any need to add another spike.

RIM HD is going up, it has not been a red long since january-february. Currently its 1 good and bad long - 2 good longs.

I don't know whats worth what anymore. I don't bother keeping track anymore. Spikes only seem to be going up, even if at least a hundred people get one from the Forgotten Desert everyday. Also, I don't see the point in the community assigning unreasonable values to items when everyone just tries to scam, demand big over trades, or guilt trip their friends into overtrading them. My opinion tho.

I just saw some bunny in Jamaal Township walk up to me and say "adopt me or i report u!!1!!"
So I just replied "I'm not adopting you, sorry. Go ahead and report me then. "
Then they literally told me to have fun getting banned forever. I just said "Have fun realizing the fact that AJHQ won't ban me for not adopting you. "

It was kinda funny when my friend came and saw someone screaming at me in all caps saying their dad works for AJHQ.. lol.

So I should be grateful if a bunch of members gang up on me and insult me for being non-member? Makes perfect sense XD.
Though I can understand why they may think that, since members spent money to help support the game and keep it running. That doesn't mean that non-members are those "low" people in the community who have to be grateful for EVERYTHING, though :/

*Seriously, though, I'm kinda getting tired of the community judging people based on whether they have membership or not :/

Why I don't like Spikes
1. Everyone has them - spikes are too common.
2. They were recently receivable in The Forgotten Desert.
3. They have almost no value. Only player desire. Value vs Player Demand are completely different.
4. There are desperate people selling them on eBay. No, that was not a joke.
5. Orange long-spiked collars are considered "bad longs" and black long-spiked collars cost 6 orange ones. Color, again, has absolutely no value and depends on the players' preference.
6. Overrated.

Also when will non-members have the ability to frame their artwork and have it as their own item?

necklaces ( yes the 25 gem ones in the store that have been there forever ) should be, they've been there since the start, and not many people have them bc they think they arent " XD RARE "
