not all furries are the same just like not all harry potter fans are the same, not all people who like the french language are the same, etc.

also "why act like it" well it's all in people's minds, it's just liking different things
like people who pretend they're wizards etc. some furries don't even pretend they just take interest in animals and create characters

I've known people who consider themself furries, but don't act like animals or think that they're an animal on the inside, or want to be an animal or anything like that.
I think it's different subgroups.

I can kind of confirm this, although the only time I really act like an animal is around people that are my friends but even then I consider myself more anthro then a full blown wolf. Not in real, however.

I do believe in spirit animals though, they're quite nice and fun to think about. Even though it may not always be true and sound silly to others.

Wolfcoon/mouse here, something very little people know is that Leo (Fursona) is actually part raccoon.
