I really like how the developer kept the same elements from the last game, but it's not a very great game imo, it's harder to navigate and ruins the element of surprise

Oh yes i have already done that. It's quite enjoyable.

You do not click the X itsself-- It is a map. Click under a tree by the rightmost area of the map. Directly under.
