I would be really grateful if rude people stopped whispering me when they didn't know the situation in which I said whatever I said. If I am the one with bad attitude then these rude people in my whispers knowing shit about it are even worse. Well, the explanation 'i was joking' or 'noob is not an insult imo' would be too easy for TFM so ofc think whatever you think but please stop whispering me and giving me an attitude. I won't apologize even if Jesus himelf whispered me. |

I wouldn't say it is stressful, but very annoying when people I don't know are asking to be my friend. If I had been around them for a while. had a nice conversation with them, and got to know them a bit, then no, I wouldn't have any qualms about adding them. However, there tend to be people who are like "omg you are so pro add me pls!!!" and that's where I sort of draw the line and ignore the person. They only want to add me because they see me as pro, even though I don't feel like it at all, and it's just annoying because I want people to be friends with me based on my actual person, not my stats. People have called me rude for ignoring them and not adding them but honestly thats just how I feel about it. My activity has declined over the past few months/years so i don't get it as much anymore, but it's still frustrating to not see people understand. As for the tribe requests, as someone who was in the previously mentioned The Diamond Micehood, and currently Evildromouse, I am quite aware of the requests. They are harmless in nature but in general they get to be a bother if you have to tell the person "you have to do or have such and such to be recruited" and more often than not they like to put up a fight about it. After a while it just gets annoying and so I don't bother to respond half the time anymore. I don't want to have an argument about it. And honestly, when I play TFM, I want to have a good time with my friends; that's why I'm there. Nine times out of ten I'm not being whispered by a stranger on an urgent matter, so i don't feel the need to reply. As far as I know it's not a requirement. People want to have fun while playing this game and being whispered constantly is not a way to get that feeling. There are a lot of other variables as for why people don't respond: they don't want to talk, they are AFK, they are busy, etc. Ordboka a dit : A lot of times I have to get up for a short amount of time to either get food, help with something, or look at something else such as skype on the computer. Logging off each time I do something like this for a bit of a break would honestly just be tedious. Many people requested the tribehouse to be put in the game so they would have a place to afk. Plus, i can't really predict if someone is going to whisper me in that amount of time I choose not to pay attention. |

Ordboka a dit : People afk to chat to and to play a round or two with friends. The game is more of a social platform to a lot of us, like irc but with a minigame on the side. As shadowwinter said, a lot of people who've hung around for years only log in to chat and spend time with friends and since most of random pms are indeed the kind that should be ignored, people have learned not to reply to anyone. And at least my personal experience is the kind that I described: the spam outnumbers the actually meaningful messages by far. I imagine it's far worse for the actually popular mice with big stats. a dit : The thing people don't often understand is that the competitive people aren't in it for the firsts or decent times, they're in it to be always better. So it may not take much effort to reply to every gj nicely, but I personally don't like lying just to be nice. Some people do, and all the praise to them, it's really nice of them. Don't think it makes the rest of us rude though. Or maybe it does, what do I know, I'm Finnish afterall. On that note, I'm sure there are a lot of less skilled players who don't answer so easily to messages from unknowns either. The difference is, people aren't so hasty to jump to the conclusion that it's arrogancy if the average mouse doesn't answer to a pm or a gj. That judgement seems to be reserved only for the ones with big stats and/or a lot of skill. Dernière modification le 1406061780000 |

I've quoted in this tread before: foenixtake a dit : But I also want to say that pro players have a hard time as well. Some, what we would call noobs, are mean too. Pro players are expected to do all the work a lot of the time, but they often make a mistake and are called noobs or given insults as an result. Pro players don't have it easy always and noob players can be just as mean as some pros are. And sometimes people act better when they're around people they know. Or maybe a fight starts up b/c a comment was mistaken for an insult. Often people see just 1 side of things, their side. So saying pros have a bad attitude isn't really correct. |

megazan a dit : God damn that :U Well it's ok Megazan because it doesn't matter if someone's just trying to bring you down when your really above them -3- And really, if people are calling you a noob or bulling you, just tell them stop being a cyber bully. It's just flat out wrong how people think that they can just have a bad attitude even though someone doesn't have that much experience as you. |

I am by no means saying that pro people on average are worse people than people with worse stats, however they do things that I think might be considered rude like for example not taking the time to attempt to make new friends, and at the same time make it a requirement to join there tribe. Also saying ty to someone saying gj is not lying even though you don't think you deserved the first. And it's your choice if you want to respond or not, but then there is the possibility that people will recognize you as rude. |

Ordboka a dit : Just to reply to this, I don't think not wanting to make new friends at the moment isn't rude really, especially when it's someone who says "addme bc u pro stats!!!1!" And requirements to join tribes aren't really rude either, it helps to make sure you get legitimate people and not alternate accounts etc in your tribe. And not saying ty to someone who says gj, sometimes the little message isn't noticed or they just don't feel it's necessary to respond and that isn't a bad thing. |

I have plenty of pro friends, and the only time they seem mean is when they are in reality having fun with me. And I agree with those saying noobs can be just as mean. I have the problem on Animal Jam. If I simply correct somebody on a single, tiny thing, like, "Gazelles are in shop now," if they state they have all betas on trade and have gazelles on there, the person sometimes flips out and starts yelling at me. However, it is also, sadly, true that quite a few pros are rude. I met a person TOTALLY PRO and they were extremely rude. I have grown to hate the word "noob" for it is a word to say somebody is horrible at something, and that's pretty rude to say in ANY situation. Whenever someone crosses the line with rudeness, I send back a final reply before ignoring the person. I suggest the same if people bully you. Also, a good shoutout to my friend on TFM, Itslauren. She was a pro back when I first played TFM.. but when we met she took me to a seperate room and tried to help me. Thanks to her, Imma great TFM player. Dernière modification le 1406318700000 |

Pro players are actually all nice, they might say that but they don't really care because we think it doesn't really hurt you that much, I don't really play Transformice but I sure am good in Nekodancer currently, as far as I know, Pro people are actually nice, i've played transformice yeah, i met some pro people like Bzakuan, Clanned, Grimrice, the were pro people and I respect them, they don't insult. They joke. |
