I feel sorry for his DAUGHTER'S dance studio. People are harassing her as the "Spawn of Satan" and trying to ruin her business. Since she "grew up with him" she's supposedly not innocent in Cecil's death. People are insane. The hateful and "mobish" behavior everyone has shown only makes me want to support Palmer. Even if he's a criminal, he and his family don't deserve to have their lives ruined like people are doing.

This is terrible.
Killing innocent creatures just to keep their heads as trophies is just selfish and greedy. I heard that Cecil had some cubs as well..

Hell, people are insane. Even though she did grow up with him, I'm pretty sure she didn't actually go with her dad to kill Cecil. Seriously, people were horrible enough to Palmer, even if he did kill Cecil. It's more horrible that they're trying to trash his daughter's business.

Even though it is wrong to kill animals, people are making more of a fuss over an animal's death rather than a human's death.

you people find an animal dying sad? lol, that's just ridiculous. it's honestly just an animal. it's not like it was your pet. i could see if your cat or something was outside in your yard and the guy came and shot it with a bow and arrow, but that's not what happened. yes, lions are becoming an endangered species, so he should be punished for it, i agree on that point. punished, not having people chasing after him with pitchforks and torches or wish death upon him. regardless if the species is endangered or not, it's not sad in the slightest.
i believe that animal abuse laws should only apply to the killing or abuse of an endangered species or if it's somebody else's pet. if it's your own pet, do what you want to it, who cares?
what the guy did was dumb because since he hunts, he should know a lion is an endangered species and again, he should be punished. however, it is no reason to cause a huge uproar.
honestly, i'm sick of all you people making big deals out of something as stupid as someone killing an animal. yes, wish for the guy to get punished because it's an endangered species, but don't get severely mad or upset because of it. again, it's not your pet. to be honest, even if it was your pet, you can always get a new one.
when i was four, my fish died. oh well, it's not like there's no other fish in the world to replace it.
when i was nine, my dog died. honestly, get another dog. that's what we did and i honestly regret it. the dog isn't vicious or anything, he's just an annoying, loathsome creature. i desperately want my mom to get rid of that thing, but she won't. now THAT'S sad, people.

^Cecil was not a game animal. He was a protected lion being used for scientific research purposes. He had been wearing a GPS tracking collar. He was very popular apparently, and he was led off of a national park to be killed. There’s bound to be a bunch of people making complaints about it.

griffincraft, yes, but people shouldn't be crying over it and getting enraged over it. i can understand being a bit miffed, but not enraged to the point of making death threats directed towards the guy.

We can find a living thing dying, sad. No matter if we knew it or not. When actors die, i feel sad too. Not like i knew him/her.
