Something so vague like "react to" getting copyrighted is something to make a fuss about, since it would lead to other big corporations to copyright other ideas they think they own (like Sony tried to do with let's plays), and would eventually affect content creators you actually enjoy on youtube.

I don't know what does it mean, so I still like the Fine Bros, even if apparently they've done something bad 8D

It would mean that every react video, on every subject, has now to be approved by the Fine Bros before it's posted or something like that ?

yes, you'd have to recieve a licence from them to make one, and if you didn't, your video/channel would be removed for copyright.

UPDATE

The Fine Brothers have posted a video and people are now complaining because it's as if they're just ignoring everything as if nothing ever happened, no apology video, just a twitter post. People disliking their videos are still holding strong as you can see this video has 41,000 dislikes.

Also, the websites for looking at their sub count are apparently crashing, lmao.

I've taken some screenshots of the best comments from their latest video, mostly because The Fine Brothers have been moderating any comments that would be against them lately.

However, they sure didn't write that apology and it still seems insincere to me and my sociology classmates. I think they had to stop and do something because they were losing thousands of subscribers and getting dislikes on their videos. It seems like they're afraid.

I dug into it some more, and FBE's actions in the past are very questionable. One thing that stands out to me is that apparently, they censor their comment section by deleting most negative comments, especially in the past couple days. So, they're silencing people? If I find the reputable source I'll link it.
