You talk about them very vaguely, and show not even a screenshot, there is no reason to think it's true.
Not to mention it's always been difficult to talk to them, on the forums or in-game, because they rarely ever respond.

I have no need to lie about this... I've asked wooferx, which has been my virtual friend for over 2 years and... Just in case you don't know... she's a HU moderator.

The main reason I speak so "vaguely" is to keep myself discrete as I'm usually questioned over and over about things that really do not concern you.

And yes, you say they are a moderator, but a moderator would not know more than us unless they were personally told by an admin. Moderators are volunteers, they are not paid, and they are not involved with the management of the servers.

This game has been going for years now. If the reason it's broke/not getting fixed is the holiday then this would have happened every year. The admins would do something to prep. everyone for an "annual server pause" while they had their event. Or at least a warning.

However, they can contact, in a more easier way, higher ranked staff. Contrasting you or me that cannot.
Besides, they receive newer information beforehand... Which I believe it's common sence.

Anyway,
I Was able to get in, It worked about 2 times for me.
Go to "Atelier 801" That's on the top left of your screen, And go to the transformice "Play" Button, then login, And wait for it to load, it only works for a few minutes (for me.)

I KNOW WHY THE SERVERS ARE DOWN!
today is france's national break, so the atelier staff aren't in the offices running the game.

There is no difference between clicking that button and just going to transformice.com. You were only able to get in that time.

I doubt the admins care to inform the moderators first. Besides having the ability to ban and mute players, they are very much like normal players. Maybe they would inform super moderators first, but why would they only tell moderators and not the players what's going on anyway? Moderators can't do their job while the game is broken, and it would be easier to post on their twitter or make an announcement on the forum so that they only need to say it once.
Besides, your friend really didn't say anything we couldn't already gather ourselves...

there's a difference between politely having a discussion and fighting... Citrinelime doubted my words, I tried to clarify him in a polite manner.

i've been having the same thing happen to me all day. It sucks because tfm is my favorite game!

alot of my friends on here so not being able to talk with em does suck but we cant do anything about till the staff is back ;-;

Transformice is one of the only two games I play and the one I play most often. These server problems and holiday in France could just be a freaky coincidence and the admins are doing their best at the moment. All we can do right now is hope for the best and wait patiently.

I logged on for 5 minutes , enjoyed the game , and then for freaking 6 hours nothing happened to the servers , they're just down today , god dammit
