Bigander a dit : Hello. Sydoline is not an admin anymore. You need to apply through the link mentioned in the first post, not in this thread. Good luck. |

Personally I think, monetizing should be allowed for creators. There's no much new blood to consider this game and the work built by users to survive further longer (thus, with Flash becoming harder to install in the future, and will be entirely blocked by mainstream web browsers) and no good incentive to convince the new potential module makers to be a part of the module maker team other than in-game reputation or the so-called altruism. This game is not popular like it was once upon a time ago. The community should seriously have a thought about this. Dernière modification le 12/03/2020 20:49 |

I completely agree with you, Desperauxq. However, I think we both should agree that adding such system in the game can be dangerous when it falls in abuse or hacked accounts; Not to mention the bugs that would appear... |

Bolodefchoco a dit : Well, the creators could include a link to their (verified) monetizing platform of choice when they share their own module code in the forum. My suggestions will be - Patreon/Paypal or equivalent. We don't have to depend on Atelier to make a monetizing platform (as itself depends on Paypal for fraises shopping payment method) Currently, AFAIK including these links can be considered as advertising. I'll say allowing this will be both win-win for the creators and Atelier. Dernière modification le 15/03/2020 23:11 |

Hello, everymice. We, from the Module Team, bring this announcement as a way to keep our methods the most transparent possible for the players. What's new? After some enjoyable internal discussion with all members and administrators, and specially thanking Desperauxq#0000 for the insight, we have decided that semi-official and official submodes and modules are now allowed to share a donation URL from its owner. We have set some patterns to implement such thing to the modules that are going to participate. It shall be available through the command !donate, a tab named Donation or similar, or in the Credits message of the minigame. Only trust the domain https://a801-luadev.github.io/, all donation URLs are going to be there and any other certainly is just a tentative of phishing or worse. Report fake URLs immediately to a moderator or to a module team member. How is it going to work? The owner of the module in question is the only one deciding whether they want to include a donation URL or not. It is not mandatory, nor prohibited. However, we highly discourage - if not prohibit - practicing this for unofficial modules of any nature because there is no way for us to detect abuses and no one from the team and/or administration is going to be responsible for the customer support. No module is allowed to sell, exchange, offer, boost - or any similar - the game items, positions, services, or anything that benefits someone or makes a PayToWin gameplay. If you find any room module that promises anything alike, make sure to report it by sending a private message to our official account, ![]() The aim of this whole thing is to allow developers to have independence in their biggest projects - ones that the players like the most. Anyone can contribute with any value, but no one has to and if you feel forced or annoyed in any way, please consider reporting the situation to one of the Module Team members! Now, you must be wondering if there is any specific plan for these donations. In a long term answer, no - nothing has been set and it is one hundred percent on the owner to decide. It can be used for a pizza with their parents in the weekend, but it can also be used for promoting modules with contests and fraise rewards. There's a sea of possibilities, feedbacks and ideas for it are more than welcome in this thread! Thank you for reading this far and for the comprehention! |
