Oh boy, Undertale. I was one of the guys that told people about Undertale during its Kickstarter campaign. I played the demo and enjoyed it. What I saw is a game with a lot of potential. These days, I really regret it. Now that it somehow won the GameFAQs' Game of the Year poll, I can safely say that it's one of the most overrated games this year. Is it bad? Not really, no. Is it good? Pretty much. Is it the second coming of Yeezus Crust? No. Is it a game of the year? No.

Also, after looking at the Undertale fandom (and, you know, looking ANYWHERE on the internet) for a while, I can say that it's worse than the FNaF fandom. Even that fandom didn't spread itself this far and wide, good grief. No matter what social website I visit, I always see Undertale references, ex. Papyrus and Sans, always hear Megalovania (I really like it, but all of this is making me grow tired of it), always feel the presence of someone who is just bursting with sheer desire to go "HEI GUIZ DID U KNO I LEIK DUNDERTALE AM SO KUL LOL HAV SANS REFS M89-SR XDDDDD".

Honestly speaking, every big fandom would have people going for the extremes. I don't really care about the Gamefaq poll because polls in the 1st place are base of biaseness, people are going to force encourage one another to vote for what they love and its a normal human behavior.
Undertale is the current BIG thing and it probably won't die off anytime soon. I personally love undertale but not a die-heart fan of it. I kinda learn how to just let those people be. Not only I am sort of the same type of person but on a different game/ subject but also if it does not really hurt me or do any bizarre attacks on anyone, its just them really liking something. Getting mad on something people craze onto is an interesting reaction tbh
