who cares for drv3 when danganronpa 3 was a disaster. did they really have to end the hope's peak story we all loved that way? every time i think of it i get pissed off cause kodaka introduced this complex diverse cast only to do nothing with them afterwards and please the og cast and hardcore shippers by the end of hope's peak, what a dumb fucking finale

why shouldn't i care for drv3 when it isn't related to dr3 in any way? dr3 was just there to say your farewells to the HPA arc, it doesn't retroactively ruin newer franchise entries just by existing. maybe you should wait for the localisation and then decide if we should care for drv3 or not.

i don't know about you but i'm pissed off to no end that they decided to end the hope's peak story which is a major factor of danganronpa in general in the most cheesy, fanservice, annoying way possible. it is obvious that they need to constantly rely back on hope's peak, considering they brought back the characters in the bonus. kodaka disrespected every single character other than sdr2 cast just so that naegiri would sail and everyone would be sunshines and rainbows.

not only that, danganronpa v3 pretty much repeats all the games in the past. the only thing memorable about drv3 is the characters, kodaka has done a shitty job with both v3 and the anime, i dislike how everyone lets him get away with it.

it's difficult to say goodbye to an arc that's gotten spike chunsoft to where it is now like that and suddenly hop back into upcoming games for me, i can't feel anything for danganronpa v3 because of how hope's peak arc ended. though that's just me, i'm disappointed and let down and don't see myself ever getting into whatever sc comes up with

but i guess you're also right. instead of harping on the bitter disappointment that was the entire dr3 anime, moving on and letting it die is the right thing to do.

that's the more accurate way to describe them tbh. my 3rd favourite character is probably korekiyo, even though i still dislike the things he did. i don't think anything really justifies it, but people overlook the fact that he's still a fine character and his past doesn't make up all of him, but he's one of many perfect examples of "mentally fucked up" in that game

as for chabashira's hatred towards men, i skimmed this very, very briefly, and from my understanding it's actually just a really boring backstory and her hatred derives from her master if i remember correctly (?)

Tenko also treats Kiibo with respect, but mainly because when she said Kiibo if he was male or female, Kiibo said "I don't know." and Tenko was just "well shit i guess i can't really love or hate you then" She doesn't treat him with the same amount of respect as she does for the women or the same amount of disrespect as she does for the men. She's just right there in the middle.
And even though Kiibo doesn't have a gender, everyone just calls Kiibo a guy and by male pronouns bc he looks and sounds male.
