I personally think people who send you links to jump scares are not your friend at all.

Unless its April fools.

I sent my friend to one once, It was funny cause it was like 2am and he said he was checking his closet and stuff. Anyway. He doesn't trust me with links anymore. I don't blame him.

there's a line to what a joke is and what being rude is
april fools does not let you do everything and just pass it off for a joke.

I understand that, And yet my friends do this kinda stuff to me all the time.

i sometimes can do well with jumpscares sometimes can't but the only times i cant is when its at night and im totally unprepared lmao

I hate them but for some reason I think it's funny and I laugh after I shit my pants cause it scared me

I clicked one out of curiosity. It said Do not click this link. I did anyways.

The tab was called GOTCHA! and it showed a grim reaper skull with thunder in the backround. I actually got rid of the tab rather quickly.

There was a YouTube comment with a link that said "View Full Post", so I clicked it to see the full post, and it opened another tab.

Someone linked that to the whole tribe today, she meant to send it to her friend.
I replied saying "I could've had a seizure.." And someone else said "I have panic attacks, don't do that please!!"
Even if it was for her friend, that's just mean making someone freak out like that.

That is why I am EXTREMELY careful about Youtube. I NEVER watch ANY youtube videos unless I know they're good.
Also, whenever I am in the tribe house, I turn off the sound and always cover the tv screens with either the tribe tab or the friend's list tab.

What are jump scares?

Websites that often have super flashy pictures and make loud noises, usually screaming.

Also, sometimes bloody and scary things. That is just as bad as flashy and loud things. Probably even worse!

Whenever I see sanctions/warnings pop up on the forums which doesn't really happen often, I treat them as jumpscares for some reason. They scare me so much sometimes :[
