I don't really have a problem with quests. Yes, the're sometimes noob, and trolls but being a troll is a part of the game. And plus, i wouldn't have made a Transformice account if the quest option didn't exist.

Guests are a nice componeet of the game. It's great for potential-users to try out the controls and preview the gameplay before deciding wether or not to join. I know that if it's not for the guest featurw, I would probabaly have never joined myself.

As for people having problems w/ guests trolling, stealing firsts, or having inappropriate names, that could happen w/ regular accounts too. It's unfair to blame all this solely on guests.

but people have a way to make inappropriate guest names all in a easy task and nobody will notice it being immature unlike people with accounts.

honestly guests just wanna be idiots and get atention and thats exactly what their doing and getting so there is no point at all for guests!

Guests make this game more fun, I love seeing random wacky names out of nowhere, on top of that. It's even better watching them getting firsts and making the non-guest players rage and complain. brightens up the chat and makes the room even more competitive on beating this unknown player.

Regular users can use hacks as well so what even is your point?

I think we should still have guests around. Imo, guests shouldn't be able to choose their name, and instead, leave it as Souris_(random letters & numbers). I've seen some insulting and also quite disturbing guest usernames out there, so I think guests shouldn't have the choice to choose their username. To add to that, guests stealing firsts is an issue too. I don't mind it, since I don't see why firsts are so important in this game. But since firsts are so important to others, maybe the admins can implement something in the game (if possible) that doesn't let the guest go into the hole until an actual user gets in first. Kind of like when you're shaman, you can't go into the hole when there are still mice. That way, guests aren't such a nuisance to other players.

This was tried before and there was a gigantic uproar. I've never seen an update undone so fast. x)

I don't see the point in stopping guests having firsts, they earned it. If you can't beat them, then you surely don't deserve the first. Sure there firsts don't count, but if you can't beat them, deal with it.

Exactly. I don't get people who say that guests "steal" their firsts. It's their decision not to have the first counted and it doesen't even affect you at all, seeing as if the guest was using an account, you wouldn't get the first either way.

@mistalee Finally someone who's talking sense. The only time a player steals your first is when they're speed hacking, or possibly when the shaman blocks the hole then teleports a certain person in. Even if someone gets lucky by taken over you with a corner jump, they never stole your first. They clearly had a better thought of imagination on getting to the hole.

I understand that. As I said, I don't mind it. A lot of other people do though, which I don't quite get since firsts aren't really a big deal to me.

You really shouldn't get rid of guests

pretty much everything they do can be done on an actual account (plus accounts can say a lot of horrible things)

so it wouldn't really solve anything, just make it really annoying for people who aren't allowed to make an account for some reason

On the bright side, guests are here to stay. And there identity shall be forever unknown. Unless they reveal themselves, which is very unlikely since the poor buggers can't talk.
