I saw my classmates playing it at school, and freaking out when it moved. I had no idea what was going on then.
Now I understand. I don't really believe in it, though. I just think that it's a matter of magnetic forces/physics.

If there is outside wind in a room and a person tries to do the Charlie Charlie, when the winds blows the rotating pencil; how come spiritualism is spewed onto the internet and others?

What the rest of the delinquents don't understand is that the 6 pencils have to form like this:

To begin the game, both players must chant: “Charlie, Charlie, can we play?” If the pencils move inward or up, the answer is yes. If they move outward or down, the answer is no. If one side goes one way and the other side goes a different way, it means maybe or the question can’t be answered at this time. You can then ask the spirit of Charlie yes or no questions, and he will respond by moving the pencils. Charlie is kind of like the spirit world version of a Magic 8 ball. To end the game, both players must chant: “Charlie, Charlie, can we stop?” After the pencils move, both players drop all of the pencils on the floor to break contact with Charlie.

Some kids have talked about strange things happening after playing this game, like seeing shadows or hearing a child’s laughter. Others didn’t experience anything at all. Just in case, I don’t recommend trying this with children that are prone to nightmares or with the kinds of imaginations that will have them seeing Charlie’s ghost in their closet until they’re eighteen. science says your breath goes woosh woosh, pushes the end of the pencil then the pencil goes "weee!" and then gravity comes along and woosh wooshes pencil even more

Is this why sometimes you ask a question it doesn't answer?
