Sleeping properly

Even though I have never tried this before, caring for snakes, and tarantulas.
I really want them since they are my favorite pets, but I have done research on them and it seems very hard.
I was talking to my friend about tarantulas, and my friend said once they had a new world who shed all their hairs on my friend, from what they said the hairs were very itchy and painful and took hours to get off.
And I imagine taking care of a snakes shed would be difficult too, especially the eye cap you have to remove.
