tricksternya a dit : And how do you know there isn't more to tell? No one seems to want to give Scott the benefit of the doubt which is weird because it's not like he's let us down at any point as far as I know. |

Saelus a dit : There's always more to tell, but it's rather a matter of dragging on. Considering the giant "The End" screen, adding another game kind of makes fans think: "What the fuck? The series is over..." |

It’s all great until it passes a third game Then it just looks like the creator is milking the series over and over kinda like cod |

griffincraft a dit : How is it being milked anymore than franchises like say, Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, Zelda etc And even if he is, can you really blame him? You gotta make money somehow, it would be smart to play it safe and focus solely on the game which has worked wonders. |

I guess I'm the only one who actually believes Scott had the entire series planned out from the beginning. I kind of considered the "good ending" to be a more hidden ending to give a little more backstory. I guess if someone has an explanation that'd be nice, but I don't actually think the children's souls were ever released since I don't see how the minigames connect to the rest of the world. The "neutral ending" is the one I think is canon, since it ends the way the rest of the games do with a newspaper clipping. griffincraft a dit : If he was truly milking it why would he ever declare a final chapter? Why not leave out the opportunity to make a bunch more games if he felt inclined? Plus, it's kind of an insult to compare FNAF to CoD when CoD has no story. CoD really is just rehashing its game every year, FNAF is at least trying to tell a overall story. |

Saelus a dit : I reckon the first game was meant to be a standalone, since he probably didn't expect it to become so big. But from the second game onwards, yes. Saelus a dit : Indeed, FNaF is like any other proper video game franchise in that it keeps the basic gameplay premise each time, but makes changes and tweaks to the mechanics. As well as a different/newly-developed plot, setting etc.And that is no different from the examples I gave (like Pokemon). |

This series is milked af tho, and the story is pretty bland. The gameplay gets old really fast, and it more or less feels like you're buying a part of a story book more so than a game. Why would you click that many spoilers? Dernière modification le 1430686440000 |

i'm not hyped for another fnaf game because 3 games are enough. there's even a frickin' movie coming soon. why do we need another one? |

Kayleekitti a dit : The movie isn't coming out for years at least. Movies like this are probably someone in Hollywood seeing the success on the games and wanting to bank on it. You can't blame Scott for selling movie rights if someone offers money to him. He's not even a writer, so it probably won't be a new story, just a movie based off the first game or the series as a whole. Why is three games enough though? Is it just because you think the story is complete or do you just not want to buy another game? |

Knightofpiza a dit : With that logic, older point and click adventure games are not games as well. Telltale basically made 3D versions of those games with cutscenes in between choices/puzzles. Walking Dead Season 2 and Game of Thrones are actually pretty puzzley but since they're big franchises Telltale wants to show off. On the topic of FNAF, I'm fine with a fourth and final game. There's still a few questions not answered (For example, what happened at the first Fazbears Family Diner?) and the fourth game had already been hinted in one of the images released for 3. The past three games are great and the gameplay is actually different for each one and Scott had given us a pretty interesting story to dive into. People screaming that they don't want a new game is only a kneejerk reaction and people have been on this bandwagon since the second game. As for the movie I'm gonna stay neutral until I hear more or see a trailer. |

I said that I didn't know it they were games or not. Also, who brought up the topic of Telltale Games anyway? Why? Did it make sense to this? |
