p'li's death was so dramatic, and so fast, I didn't even know she died until he said she made a sacrifice for that reason, they left 2 things unclear in this season finale: what happened to ghazan(I love this guy) and what they did to zaheer)

Since Ghazan tried taking Mako and Bolin down with him, he's probably dead. Zaheer's probably back in prison under heavier guarding. A moreso unclear thing is whether they retrieved the truthseeker guy's spirit from the valley of the lost souls (although he's probably long gone since his physical body is most likely dead unless the time span of that episode and the ending is a mere few days or shorter).

I am curious however to know if that captain person with the metalbending squad whose name escapes me at the moment becomes relevant during the next season. Also where do the airbenders go since the Northern Air Temple is pretty much destroyed?
