| The demo's pretty amazing, the controls are nice (although I'd like to disable up to jump, that'd be very nice) and I honestly can't wait another 14 days to get the game. At least I have the demo now to keep me busy because I have a lot of practicing I need to be doing now, no excuses ! |

| im sad that mega man isnt as good as he was made out to be. still, hes still fun to play as, and my favorite out of the 5 available. my question though is why isn't the wii fit trainer also a choice to play as? i mean the villager, mega man, and wii fit trainer were all revealed on E3 2013, and well you can play as the villager and mega man, so the absence of wii fit trainer doesn't make sense in that regard to me. |

| I played against a Megaman in For Glory today, he had terrible ledge game and I ended up meteor smashing him a couple times lol. I still think of Pit has a cheap character coming from Brawl, but that's just me. |

| i got the game, and I'm here to discuss here are my observations four things about palutena 1. palutena is OP 2. probably because she's a goddess 3. I wish she would say "Just a little divine intervention!" as a victory phrase 4. She says "Poor little Pittoo!" after winning against dark pit, which can be found in her sound clips before unlocking him six things about pit/dark pit (some uprising references included) 1. pit's smash is as OP as palutena 2. dark pit's smash is just zelda/sheik's 3. pit's specials are really different, and I'm mad about the changes (who the heck uses palms and orbitals anyway, it's all about the ore club) 4. I haven't unlocked dark pit yet, but i really hope that somewhere he grumbles about people calling him pittoo 5. sakurai is contradicting himself by having pit able to fly a little ways up in both brawl and ssb4, yet in uprising pit clearly states he can't fly on his own (hence the power of flight that palutena provides for him) 6. speaking of which, pit vs palutena makes no sense three things about meta knight 1. the nerfing is lame, he just does a pose after a couple of his specials to slow him down 2. I hate the whooshy noise his sword makes instead of the slicey one in brawl 3. why do they always give him a slight hispanic accent two things about ike 1. his flames are blue now, which is pretty cool 2. does anyone else think his neutral and side specials sound like microwave dings when they finish charging two things about pac-man 1. super rad with all the nostalgia, especially in his up-taunt that pulls up namco game icons 2. at his stage, what do i do when I've collected enough white dots that the character makes noises as though he's charged up or something?? three things about the pokémon characters 1. charizard and lucario's final smashes are really, really lame. 2. charizard's sound clips are hilarious when scrolled through quickly 3. greninja makes the best ninja impressions four things about wii fit trainer 1. why are there about 30 sound clips like "strengthen your upper body" "work those core muscles" "stretch to tone your legs" 2. crouch + crawl = hopping push-ups 3. final smash is a way cooler variation of mario's 4. this is a legitimately really neat character to add to the game, she brings lots of new stuff to the table and is entertaining (to say the least) four things about robin (you need to have played awakening to understand the first two) 1. male robin, after winning against lucina, says "Lucina, I hope I didn't hurt you." I think this suggests it's canon for male robin to marry her in awakening, and it's a popular choice to do so 2. female robin, after winning against lucina, says "How can you protect Chrom if you can't protect yourself?" first off, ouch. second, I think this suggests female robin is meant to marry chrom, and is criticizing lucina as though she is her daughter. Chrom's sound clips from Robin's smash are also only found in female robin's sound clip section 3. robin is slower than I expected, and i don't quite understand the item usage. does it just replenish itself after a bit? how do you know which tomes have been restored without trying to use it? 4. the smash seems like marth's trigger range and ike's destruction style mixed into a dual strike thing that i still squeal about six things about the game/characters with single observations 1. why is the challenge board thing the exact same as the treasure hunt in uprising (seriously sakurai, you can't recycle stuff without us noticing) 2. menu navigation is weird to me; some stuff is rearranged from brawl and the different sizes/styles of tiles makes me miss the thing i'm looking for 3. what is the point of omega final destination if all it does is turn off items 4. speaking of which, the omega stage option is super neat so we don't have to replay final des over and over just for a good battle 5. in the music playing section, there's an option to have the music continue playing while in sleep mode, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with 2ds 6. who else misses story mode? I actually enjoyed subspace emissary; it offered much more replay value to the game as a whole 7. villager is just a modern version of game & watch (both have miscellaneous items as the basis of their moveset TLDR; so far the game has been pretty enjoyable in the short time I've had it. also, I don't want to know how to unlock any characters so it can be a surprise (if someone else wants to know in this thread, I'd appreciate if you linked to it or put it in a spoiler) /rant over edit: adding/fixing 1. why is palutena's final smash a black hole when she's the goddess of light (plus the mega laser is mega lame) 2. apparently omega stages don't turn off items, but the demo suggested otherwise 3. meta knight's shuttle loop is better despite the lack of gliding (I thought they were supposed to nerf him?? he seems better to me) 4. the custom specials are super neat, i love the slight variations that have significant effect on battle 5. dream land stage drove me to tears with the lovely tune in it's original 8-bit glory 6. classic mode is differently organized; fight group of characters by year of release instead of by franchise 7. all grabs seem to be the same between characters now I might come back to edit some more later Dernière modification le 1412469780000 |
