OKAY HI. Afaik this is the best way I could ever share an update on my life like... EVER. I haven't used this site in... literal years. As in... 8 years. It's been 8 years. Oh god! ANYWAYS

I've always really wanted to do a quick visit to this forum again and just... talk about everything. Including my art, yes, I'll stay on topic!!
You may have known me as Mixelslover. ...I would've logged back into that account if I actually attached an email to it </3... As a wee little 11 year old, I was terrified of making an email, for some reason.

Besides the point, though! I call myself Shimmy nowadays... I've transitioned! I actually know that I'm on the autism spectrum now (instead of giggling and being like "ohhh I'm SUCH a weirdo XD lol!!!!") The reason why I was so eccentric and strange as a kid was... okay, diagnosed autism and being an egg, but it was the best way I could cope with not knowing why I was an outcast amongst my peers. And also I had all kinds of other really bad problems... whoops!

I've changed a lot over the years... if you knew me way back when, let me scare you with this; I'M 20 NOW. I know, I'm just as scared as you are. Other than that, I've gotten therapy, I've found friends and lovers, I've discovered myself as a person... and yes, I still love Mixels. Naturally! ...Okay, Mixels isn't really my thing anymore, I've found other weirdly niche hyperfixations and special interests...

I'm not even really sure what else to get into about my life that isn't too personal... uhhh... All I wanna say is... looking back at my 11 year old days is nostalgic, and also... ooooh... painful. I was incredibly socially unaware and it's also just kinda sad seeing how some people took the chance to jab at this poor kid. I hold no grudges, though! 2016 brought out the worst in a lot of kids and teens because we had super bad influences. I'm sure a lot of you guys can't help but wince at your past selves too. Let's all make fun of our 2016 selves!! HAHAHA!
