This is my baby girl, my sweet doggy. Her name is Buffy. She's 15 years old. We've had her since she was a puppy. I'm 18, so I've had her most of my life. She's my best friend in the world. My truest, most loyal friend. I'll never love anyone or any animal quite like I love her. She's beautiful, sweet, and still as hyper and active as she was 10 years ago. She's a 3-way mix: german shepherd, border collie and husky. She's about the size of a border collie. She loves to sniff - she's content to spend hours laying in the grass and sniffing the wind.


This is my other baby girl, my sweet kitty, Stanley (we named her before we knew she was a girl). She showed up on our doorstep during the summer of 2010. My parents didn't want a cat, but she was tiny and malnourished and afraid. We fed her and brought blankets outside for her and eventually the weather got colder and we took her in. The condition for rescuing her was that I take her with me when I move out. She's about 3 years old, we think. She's extremely shy. She knew how to use a litter box so we know she had owners before and they just dumped her somewhere. She's afraid of everything and won't let you go near her belly or paws. We're certain that her previous owners abused her in some way. She's also afraid of closed doors and small places, so she must have been crated or locked away somewhere. But she's the sweetest, most special girl once she becomes comfortable with you.
