Know as "arroz doce", its like a rice pudding, mixed with lemon and sprinkled with cinnamon.

This, orginally from portugal, not my homeland cuz i was born in england, but my grandads.

In Romania we have coliva , which is given to people that attend a funeral . Its boiled wheat with cocoa powder , you can add nuts , m&m's , sprinkles or your tears to it .It looks bad but its really nice
http://www.retete-on-line.ro/retete-dulciuri/coliva-282.jpg

Next are sarmale , they are made out of meat , rice and everything nice . spices. They are rolled into pickled or boiled cabbage or grape vine leaves. Next to it is mamaliga , which is boiled corn flower , its used as a substitute to bread .
http://www.divahair.ro/images/speciale/articole/roxana_diva/2010.02.28/sarmale.jpg

This is zacusca , just random vegetable spread . Its like the packaged ramen for students . If your family sends you this when you're away its a blessing .

Aaaaand we throw meat on everything , we also eat soup like it was sent by god himself , if you ever go to someone's home they are going to have a kind of soup in their fridge .thats a rule .

Oh yeah and we put meat in gelatin , its quite grotesque.
