I think people in general can have a bad attitude on this game; it is a competitive game, less or more skilled. That being said, I've never met someone with good stats who's been in your face or malicious to another player; as said, its usually padders and people who think they're much better |

some of them really do get bitchy about their stats and how they're better than most players and etc. worse thing is, there are people who help them to raise their narcissistic behavior by becoming bootlickers |

Lets remember those players we are familiar with, like an administer. If they are known, getting loads of whispers are common for them. And though we cannot assume, majority would be begging them to be friends with them, just because they are well known. Most would be begging to add them so to feel important and probably brag to friends. Just by replying to a fan would drive them nuts, so is best to ignore. Not everyone is that insane fan or a hater etc, but ignoring is basically a protective shield for those players, mostly silent ---- Oh man I was reading the wrong page, greattt Dernière modification le 1407784320000 |

Oh damn I hate pros but I like them at the same time. Pro: Their accomplishments are impressive when you look at them. Con: They act really harsh around newbies (noobs) when the newbies are struggling for soulmate maps, when they're shamming, and for stealing their firsts >.> |

echoshadows a dit : ^ Though not with all pros. Some are welcoming and congratulate people on getting in on firsts. However I find in racing rooms you get a lot of people who are just.. >.> Well lets just say in my experience on playing with an alt account, you get a lot of people practically scream 'HACK NOOB FIRST BAN' whenever you beat them. e:Generally statpadders Dernière modification le 1407845760000 |

Why can't people just use Ignore? |

Shinark a dit : But whats the fun in that ;; Edit: I was joking ;-; On a more on-topic note, I have found that it really depends on the person. Both "noobs" and "pros" get mad when someone beats them through lag or ping. It is really part of the fun of the game :p Dernière modification le 1407862200000 |

Istudent a dit : It's not supposed to be a fun thing to see pros harass other players (in the rare times they do) That's why the ignore button is there. |

I believe it's not really the players with outstanding stats or profiles who are rude and harsh towards the less skilled and newer players. I actually believe it's the players who are cocky and like to think they are better than most people. An example of such would be a player who brags about something and rubs in your face like, "I beat Thejkb in racing 3 times.". They let the event go to their head (Assuming it's true) and they become more and more narcissistic, and what adds to the bad attitude is that when people don't agree with them or do not believe them they lash back quickly and harshly and will not stop until they get their satisfaction. But that's my personal opinion. From what I've seen that is what I've gathered. |

>m< I haven't seen much of the true 'pros' since all I see of always the fake ones... Real Pros: Welcoming and warm (Nice if you want to put it that way) Fake Pros: Statpadders and everything else that might describe them as 'Self-Arrogant' (I am terrible at describing things .-.) I see the Fake Pros too often (though at one time I want to yell at them for being rude :l ) and I kinda want to tell them: "We all were new to this game, So on your first day did you expect to Wall-Jump, Corner-Jump and Be a great shaman?" Yet I always keep my mouth shut because I don't want to be 'Humiliated' (Since I am a coward, I must admit it >.< ) I just want to keep a good relationship with the players. Yet again I have to admit I have called guests (and sourises) 'noobs' since I was annoyed at them, especially in soulmate maps .s. |

I agree, I once picked a fight with a pro then everyone started turning against me expect for like um, 2 pros? .-. Damn that pro I picked a fight on was a fake. God. First off what I don't like about fake pros is that once you pick a fight on them, they just come back and start making lame ways to tease you, for ex: 5th place is noob. <.< wtf is that. Second is that when your their soulmate on soulmate maps, they eventually try to kill you, I'm sick of them. |

I think it's the people who think they're pro that are more of a problem than the people who actually are pro. They tend to believe they're better than everyone and it really does go to their head. Yesterday I was having a shaman battle with someone and it ended with all of the saves dying and afterward they kept laughing about how they had killed me (though I had actually killed myself on accident) and it got out of hand. I asked them what their problem was with me and why they felt the need to prove they're better than everyone and they only replied that they wanted to be better than me and me alone. So I told them that technically, stat-wise, yes, they did have better stats than me, and they could at least believe they're better than me in that way, and therefore they could stop picking on me. Although of course, they didn't. It ended with me not replying and some other person in the room making fun of them for a far longer than was expected from a simple shaman turn. (I was shaman about 3 more times and they were still going at it.) So basically, lesson learned from this for me is that, true pros don't tend to be totally rude. I've seen plenty of them and they tend to be kind to their friends and others, but it seems the fake pros are so self-involved that they don't have any friends and can only focus on themselves, which oftentimes leads them to picking on people with lower stats/worse skills than them. |
