Yesterday, the high school and an elementary school was on code red lockdown for 4 hours, because there was someone with a gun. The gunman then apparently hid inside an apartment building a few streets down.

in other news i feel bad for this kid eddie in my class because he broke his leg during phys ed yesterday and had to leave in an ambulance

so now he's in a cast for 8 weeks poor kid
ive broken 5 bones so i feel for him honestly

There's a kid in second block who broke his leg and idk if i should ask.

i always feel bad when people are injured, especially when they have crutches and stuff

i don't ever offer to carry their books and i feel guilty about that but most of them have friends who constantly trail behind them and help them anyways so i don't think i'm needed idk

only like 2 months ago i had a walking boot on for a little bit because i Did A Dumb during baseball but i just carried my own books despite having crutches til i could stabilize myself on my leg idk

You are strong. I've never broken a bone in my life and it makes this pity worst when I see other people.

i've gotten used to it
the first time i broke a bone was my wrist but i don't remember how exactly it happened since i was like barely seven or something

and then i've broken my ankle twice and sprained it (i've had more sprains than broken/fractured bones) but the worst part about crutches is that they hurt under your arms if you don't put any sort of padding on them and when i had that stupid boot on recently i didn't put any form of padding on them until like 3 weeks into using them
honestly it was the worst thing ever

i don't know if my bones are really fragile or something but my brother has had the same thing

we just get hurt a lot
and then ive had numerous bloody noses and had my nose cauterized 3 times but i don't know what that's from that's just. a thing.

i've the best health tbh
