I understand your complaint, and a lot of these posts are very invalidating. However I do have to agree with most of them and advise you to do your best to enjoy what you have now. Stay on top of your homework, even if it is excessive. The work habits you create for yourself now are what will stick with you throughout the rest of your schooling. Each year, more homework gets piled onto kids in every grade, lower or higher, and I remember what a pain I thought it was to have homework nightly. Once you get to high school it only gets worse. They're stuffing the cirriculums to the point of overflowing, too. My 11th grade university math teacher explained to me that there were university math courses for grade 11, 12 and 13 years ago. Now, they've shoved all three of those courses into the single grade 11 university math course, and added to it every year. We would only spend a day at the most, sometimes half a day or less, on a single unit. It's way too much work.

Yes, we get a lot of Homework in Middle School. But it will be worse in High School and collage.
And Its Winter Vacation right now! Some of you may have homework, but at least you don't have to do it every night, and you need school in the first place. How are you gonna have a job when you grow up? School will get you somewhere in life.

my teachers nice in 3rd grade i never had homework once and now i still have spelling screw spelling i like math class

anyways, as mousey pointed out, we dont have middle school here, so ill just complain about high school ^D^

Where to begin...

- English is a pain sometimes. Mostly cus exchanges go something like this when called upon by the teacher:

Students: (in Filipino) Teacherrrr can we answer this in Filipino?
Teacher: No... <.< fine.

wth is the point of english class if you answer stuff in filipino? and then my classmates go like, "Good for you if you know English so well, but we don't (its not nearly as harsh in filipino, its just that i dont know the exact translation for what they normally say)"

e_e I carry 4 notebooks, 1-2 dictionaries, a pencilcase, 2 textbooks, multiple folder, 2 small cases filled with papers and a binder filled with fillers in my backpack. In the afternoon when I leave, I also have a suitcase filled with 2-4 textbooks 3 folders, and several more notebooks. Don't you dare whine about that math book.

No middle school in London, you just go from primary school (elementary) to highschool and do 6 years there.

I thought It would be Nursery (Or Kindergarden I think americans call it) Infants, Primary (or Juniors) and then Senior (High-School). I could be wrong.
