My grand-grandmother (my grandmother's mother; mom's grandmother) died on July 13th 'cause of cancer. She already had the IV-th stage :/
E: Oh, and my mom's birthday is on July 13th.

;_; Cancer is so sad, isn't it...to my knowledge, no one in my family has died of cancer, though.

My great aunt's life was taken by breast cancer. She was suffering from severe dementia beforehand, though, and was not herself... So, in a way, we already mourned for her 5 years before her death.

My grandfather, Joe, as if that isn't the perfect name for a grandfather, passed away as a result of cancer. You truly realize how horrible cancer is when your smiling grandpa Joe is lost from it.

And he didn't even smoke.

My uncle, 43 when he died, had cancer at the age of 17, knowing he would die, but didn't, then again had cancer the year after next (19). He died in 2012 with his siblings beside him. The doctors cried and they only knew him for a week or so. He was pretty much the best pastor, I'm Catholic, but he was Christian, that i knew. He only talked about God and Jesus and he barely spoke of bad things. He looked like he was in his 70's cuz of his cancer. I believe that God told him it was time, and my uncle knew that. Love you Lyle! Rest in Peace! *cries*
