can i just point out that i hate that you can see the dislikes?
imagine how the "selfies" thread is going to turn out when people can see the like to dislike ratio
and even if they don't get "disliked" then just seeing the comparison of how little likes on their own selfies, or art, etc, to others will be hard on them.

What this person said is a great example of how corrupt the system is, i mean I think it can totally lower ones' self esteem.

I just want to be able to post on here without having to know that some random guy can easily dislike my comment and the fact that I can't even defend myself, they can just dislike and run away without being exposed.

Yeah, look at the suggestions section. There are many good Ideas remain not considered and they are being ignored. Players wasted their time and effort by suggesting things. They are not implemented. Instead of that they implemented a useless thing like this one

Yeah, look at the suggestions section. There are many good Ideas remain not considered and they are being ignored. Players wasted their time and effort by suggesting things. They are not implemented. Instead of that they implemented a useless thing like this one

If you look at the Suggestion List thread, you can see the player suggestions that have been implemented in purple :) "Liking posts" was on the forum suggestion list.

Also, note that there's one developers for the forum and other developers for the game. The little time it took to add this probably wasn't a huge impact on the to-do list of other forum suggestions. I'm not saying it was the best idea in the world, just that it probably didn't take away from other suggestions you're thinking of.

From the things tfm has added to the game based off player suggestions were pretty good and actually improved the game while this type of update, has pretty much no pros as oppose to all the cons.

I understand making a small update which did not take much time to do and doesn't clash with other already implemented suggestions would be a good thing but in a case such as this one, I think it would have been a better choice for the developers to actually take a good look at how it would have effected the community instead of just implementing this update thinking everyone would love it just because it's sometime new I guess.

Also it would be effective for the forum and game developers to peer review the updates with each other before adding it to either the game or forum so something like this ( which has gotten quite a lot of negativity) to be avoided, since more people can pick out the pros and cons of something easier and another thing tfm could do was make an announcement asking the community if they even wanted this type of update to be implemented before the developers wasted their time developing something everyone would hate.

I am not saying they ignore everything. They ignore many of them.
There are suggestion which are better and easier than this one tho. For example, double post warning.
