I'm going to throw this out there. Transformice DOES have an IP ban, or at least they used to. It basically lasts a week. However, anyone smart enough (or dumb enough) to hack into something probably knows how to simply change thier IP adress. It really isn't that hard to do. There's no good way to prevent hacking, it's always going to happen. This probably won't help at all to be honest, anyone who's hacking probably knows they're breaking rules. Most people do it simply to annoy others, and I suppose they're doing a good job?

Maybe istead of banning the guest account, you could refresh they're page or something, and ban the IP with it. It'd annoy me enough to stop.

If you want hacking to stop, you need to make it so the mods can't disable whispers. I went to tell them about some a while back, 5 mods were on, and all of them had whispers disabled. Sort of defeats the point in my opinion.
If you let the mice tell you, you could stop them faster. Mods can't be everywhere, annoyed mice are though.
