Dobrymisiu a dit : Indie games means independent games. Considering Minecraft was bought by Microsoft, it's no longer an indie game. |

Question: How the hell do you deal with idiots at school? In my math class, there's only 19 people and there's only about 6-7 people who aren't idiots and the rest are a bother to not only me, but the teacher. They're always interrupting her and I still don't know why she hasn't done anything. In any of my other classes, if you talk while the teacher is, it's an automatic warning. I could go onto a whole rant about them if I wanted to. |

Sweetporcelain a dit : unfortunately, there's idiots everywhere and you'll deal with them daily, so you can't really get rid of them. if you want, you can report it to the authorities about their behavior and how the teacher hasn't handled them as of yet. it may get her in trouble, but it's better than nothing, right? i think you should improve on your patience and try your best to ignore as much as you can, and if they get to you, just try to find coping methods. you can always try listening to music, taking deep breaths, draw, or just about anything that's comforting. |

Mukasasha a dit : Sadly, our school doesn't allow us to listen to music. Something about "I might miss an 'important' alarm or miss the bell" which is crap because although I need music to ignore my surroundings, I'm still updated on it. If I had music to listen to, I wouldn't have this problem |

Sweetporcelain a dit : Man ive had the same problem for AAAAGES- honestly the only way around the music thing is to break the rules if you have long hair (like i do) you can use it to hide one earbud in your ear. Only one though because as you mentioned you might miss an important alarm or bell- that way you can listen to the teacher AND drown out some of the noise from classmates! I dont know how strict your school is but that works for me anyway kBJSH once you do it for a while you can bypass almost anyone with earbuds- i know for some people breaking the rules isnt the best option BUT if the rules seem dumb or pointless theres no point in being a sheep and going along with it! If it helps you in some way shape or form without hurting anyone, i say to hell with the rules and to plug those earbuds in! |

does anyone know any good and free photoshop alternatives for photo editing? (other than gimp and pixlr) |
1 | ||
Krahtoff a dit : It depends what level of photo editing you're intending to use photoshop for. Be aware that old photoshop cs2 is available for free download from adobe. Also! many education institutions offer access to Photoshop while you are a student. If you want image editing & design work, GIMP is the best application you can use. I'd be reluctant to call any other free alternatives "good". Some of the other software here can be used for similar purposes, but not to the same extent as GIMP can. If you're struggling to transition to GIMP from Photoshop (I can relate) or just find it too complex, there are photoshop themes ("GIMPSHOP") that make the applications look similar and GIMP Portable is also available. I've also heard really good things about the Affinity suite, which also has free trials and can be used for pretty much everything photoshop can. After the trial it's WAY cheaper to buy than photoshop. Pair either application with Inkscape, Illustrator's free alternative, and you have great design capabilities. There's also the Nix Collection which was free, but I believe that is only free trials now. Photoscape and Photo Pos Pro are free and mentioned quite a bit but I have not used it so I don't know if they would have photoshop editing capabilities or be more filter/processing applications. If you're just interested in image processing (filters, cropping, basic edits)? There's a ton for that, I prefer Pixlr but there are others for it if you don't like Pixlr such as Fotor or Befunky. For drawing, Krita is GREAT. I've also heard good things about sumopaint. However, both are more suited to drawing and don't have photo editing tools. Sketch can also be used for some design work, everything is in beautiful vectors and has a free trial. It's more for UX design, however I've used it and found it simple and powerful. I would definitely recommend if you like editing vectors and website design. Dernière modification le 1529466060000 |
