I get consistently 90+ wpm in English, broken 100 a couple times. Some words are ridiculously hard since I only use four fingers for typing, so it really just depends if those pop up or not.

The trick to these is to read the next word out loud in your head while typing the previous one, that way you don't have to pause between words. You just let your fingers go on autopilot and trust them to hit the correct keys. The moment you start thinking about what you're doing, mistakes happen.

A kind of related thing is the speed-reading app called Spritz. I've been using it out curiosity for a while and it's pretty awesome once you get used to it. Before I found about this had someone told me that I'd be able to read 700 words per minute while understanding everything, I would've laughed at them. Although I do prefer 400-500 wpm for comfortability's sake.
