Web Earth Online is this great animal simulator game. What makes it even better? MULTIPLAYER! Yes, you can play, mate or just sit and relax with your friends as a woodland creature.
'What kind of woodland creatures?' I hear you ask. Here's a small list:

• Blue jays
• Cardinals
• Mice
• Foxes
• Wolves
• Reptiles
• Snakes
And many, many more!

You can explore a large world full nature.
As beautiful as it sounds though, there are predators in the game...
There are several worlds you can select after you signed up (don't worry, it's free and no admin activation is needed). The first one is a kind of peaceful world that has rules that players must follow. The other worlds are free for all - survival of the fittest. However, you can still die in the first world by predators, starvation or other things. The rules are pretty basic: Don't kill anyone (unless they're an NPC), don't kill or steal anyone's young, play fair (no hacking) and don't swear in chat. Yes - there is a chat. It's not a very good chat since there's no box, meaning the person you're talking to has to be on your screen, but it has chat.
There is mating on this game. Not graphic mating. This game is an old game. If I'm correct, it's been running since 1998, so the graphics aren't the best. But graphics aren't everything, y'know. Anyways, back to mating. If you and your partner have a high relationship with each other, you have a nest built (I'm not just referring to bird nests. Even foxes need nests) and you are both mature enough, you can mate and the female will become pregnant. She can keep track of how long until the babies will be born and how many there will be using this little egg thingy that appears. If the mate was unsuccessful, try waiting a little longer since both or one of you may not be mature enough yet. Also, keep track of your Social bar. Both animals have to have a full Social bar before you can mate. It's also suggested neither of you are too hungry or thirsty.
Soon enough, you will have healthy babies!

Wow, I really droned on about that, didn't I? It's because I don't often find games as detailed as this, and the game doesn't have the popularity it deserves. I often come on to see only about 4 players online, and most of the time I never even find anyone while I play. I figured the mating part of the game would get people, who are interested in simulation games like me, into the game. Anyways, what else is there?
There is hunting. If you gather up enough points/score to unlock a predator such as a fox or wolf, you can use the fight option to hunt. Fighting is not playfighting. That's challenge, but there are requirements for a challenge. Fighting is to the death, so be careful about who you fight. If you're a blue jay and you decide to fight a bear, the result isn't going to be pretty. Trust me, I know this from noob experience XD
Another important thing to remember is that this game features some special bars called 'gizzard', 'calcium' and 'minerals'. After ages of experimenting instead of simply asking what they mean, I found out that to keep up your 'gizzard', you need to eat gravel (don't ask), to keep up your 'calcium' you... wait... goddamn... forgot to do that one. I'm so helpful, aren't I? Anyways, to keep up your 'mineral' bar, you've got to lick minerals. It's ideal to bring gravel and minerals to your nest for your babies to have.
Right, so this was meant to be a post advertising the game since I felt sorry for it, but now this is turning into a walkthrough. I should let you guys discover things by yourself.
Ooh, one more thing - the game isn't supported on Google Chrome. You have to use Firefox or Internet Explorer since it runs on Java. If any of you are interested in meeting me on it, here's the link:

We're all usually blue jays because we find it safer to fly, but it's all down to how good you are at the game. In our case... :P

It sure is! I forgot to mention there are seasons which affect when animals can mate and how much food there is.

i've played this game for a long time
i've unlocked all the animals (by points for you newbies) except for the advanced game ones
i prefer being a hawk or a condor in the game, the king snake is really great to play as too

I tried it, and I don't really understand anything. I was in a world, looking at the ground from up to a lot of birds with 1 fps, and I couldn't do anything

The game isn't laggy. At least I don't think it is. I think that's just the graphics since they're sprites. And to move, you use the arrow wheel on the right side of the screen or the arrow keys.
You can click the ground to interact with it if you're on the same block of ground you clicked on.

This game looks like a great way to have some fun and invest my time. I look forward to playing it!

I'm clicking the arrow pad, but I can't even move when clicking it!

I tried it out and I will just say I will never be playing that again.
