Neko Atsume (which literally reads as "Cat Collection,") is a mobile game for iOS and Android that runs in the background of your mobile device. Cats come and go, play with toys and eat food that you set out. There's forty-nine cats in game, seventeen of which are considered rare, with tons being added all the time!

they're random! i seem to be getting them around fifteen visits though, snowball was at their fifteenth and i think callie was at her seventeenth when she gave me hers?

I've seen this around for a little before it came translated and it's just so enticing.

What exactly do you do? Just set food out and periodically see if they need to be re-fed or...?
