Well I get on the cafe alot
I only see a mod on cafe like a few times in a week

there is a cure for this and it is called
just don't click the button

This ^. It's quite simple like she said - don't click that button.

i've always felt like the cafe needs to go down and for good reason. it's all thanks to the fact that there's little to moderation meaning that people can start gigantic arguments on a whim while at the same time character-assassinating popular users one by one, along with the fact that from the times i have used transformice (which i no longer do, i'll be going back on it in a week or so) i have the uncontrollable urge to click on the cafe button. i can't stop myself from it. it was a horrible reflex and i'm sure others have the same problem as well. either that there will be an option to disable certain things from being viewed in the icon bar, or the cafe is removed.

also i can't remove the vote i voted in,,,,,, :/

Tbh, I don't see some of you on the Cafe XD

But I really think it could be moderated a little more. Lots of things can happen there.

Don't really see a purpose of Cafe. Forums & Game are simply enough..

It's so fun in cafe, we have the forums but it's more useful for newbies, there someone can do some thing what are useful for them, like, guides, helps etc. But some people are doing random things, and are funny some of them and weird too.

This doesn't really help the people who like to use it and end up getting exposed to awful things like porn links and screamers. If we're going to continue to not have a proper moderation system for it we would all be better off with it gone.

The only thing it lacks is a report that could send to online mods and arbs. You can still easily whisper a mod if one is available and alert them of issues, and arbs apparently can handle it as well as per this.

The Cafe is basically my life, and without it I'd be bored to death on TFM. I go on the Cafe to RP and to just chat and have fun. Just don't click that little coffee button.. Even though.. Once you click, you can never stop. Like how I can't stop clicking the button. I couldn't imagine not being able to RP with the same people anymore.

Well, it kinda should be moderated a bit more, not like 24/7 but it should be checked from time to time in a day..
But removing the Cafe is a really bad idea, should be kept just more moderated.

I did see that and to me that's still not a proper moderation system lol. I don't use the cafe myself but judging from the panicked messages I see in room chat all too frequently about how people on the cafe are spreading screamer links it seems as though either people don't know that they can whisper mods about that, or that doesn't help the posts to be removed fast enough.

Avoid the cafe if you don't like it
If a link seems suspicious, don't click it or copy and paste it into a search bar
The cafe is fine the way it is, it needs a few improvements but it's so far fine the way it is

21 Dislikes get the topic deleted. (tho it takes a long time to get people to dislike it.)
Topic owners should at least have the power to remove the messages in their topic..?
(Since there's few mods who are really busy and can't reply fast.)

I support removing the cafe, I don't feel it is moderated enough.

Too many people take advantage of the lack of moderation and fill their posts full of cussing and perverted and sexual conversations. This needs to stop!

It's sad to see topics full of cussing/sexual comments with + votes or very few - votes while wholesome topics promoting clean language and other such things get many - votes. This is abuse of the voting system!
