[Suggestion] BB-code in quotes |

For some reason, quoting someone who's using BB-code doesn't work. It just shows the code itself. For example, if I post an image and someone quotes it, it just says the [IMG] code and it doesn't display the actual image. Same thing with anything else BB-code. Links, bold text, videos, et cetera. Edit: Here, someone managed to have an image in quotes. Why did it work there, but not other times? This is confusing. Dernière modification le 1455556680000 |

It does work when you quote someone with BB-code, it only mess up when they are using tabs |

Lobolove a dit : Their post here didn't quote a tab'd post. Going through their edit history the bbcode did not work at first, but nothing was changed other than a simple edit submit to the post from what it looks like. |

This seems more random than I expected. Initially, the link in the quote in my post did not work. It displayed just the raw [url] code and not the actual link. I did not edit the post in any way other to simply say that it's stupid that BBCode doesn't work in quotes. It seems that it doesn't work at first, and then it works later, or if you refresh the page. I don't know, perhaps this should be a post in Bugs rather than Sugge- wait. I just noticed that a moderator moved this to Discussions. I guess that's why I had to check my browser history to find the post, since it wasn't in Suggestions like it initially was. This is definitely a bug, as you can see in the picture. BBCode both works and doesn't work in that quote. It'll probably change soon, too. Source. |

Phonemouse a dit : It's a problem with quoting link with "&" on them. The link quoted appear in BBCode as while it's supposed to be http://atelier801.com//topic?f=6&t=818783&p=1. These "amp;" cause a bug with the url tag that don't reconize the url as an url. |

Anyone have any idea why the URL in this post of mine didn't work? The URL didn't work here either. Is it because it ends with .php? Dernière modification le 1455836880000 |

Phonemouse a dit : Similarly to above, it had the & in the URL - but when going to edit it the browser converts that back into a real & symbol so you simply needed to go to the edit view then re-submit it. Phonemouse a dit : It's because it doesn't follow the proper URI schema and doesn't have "http://" or another protocol at the start. |

Shamousey a dit : Oh, okay. So it has to start with "http://" or "https://?" |
