Try to gather as many guests as you can, and email them with the correct responses.
Orange arrows mean your response was incorrect, while green arrows mean they were correct.
The more guests you get to come (at least around 17 completed emailed guests), the higher chance of getting the best ending,

Save the game frequently! It may say "Saving" while it loads, but it doesn't! Update below.
Best way to use the save option:
1. Save before responding to an email. You don't know if you'll answer correctly or incorrectly. Once you answer with a green arrow, save.
2. If you feel your conversation in the chat-room went well (meaning you've gotten a lot of hearts), save afterwards. If you feel as if you should go back, for you didn't get enough hearts or made a mistake responding directly to someone other than the character you wish to, then restart the app and then redo the conversation and choose what you believe the correct answers were. Save then.

Important Update: Planning on removing this hint due to the save feature only available to VIP members. You will soon have to rely on your current gameplay. Know that this does in fact save (you click 'Original Story' again on the menu) and without a save file to load from, you cannot go back.

Currently, it seems like the hourglass currency is the only currency the app properly memorizes.
If you spend hourglasses and you restart the app/the app crashes, you will not get the hourglass(es) back. Spend them wisely!

Once you've taken a route with a character, try to choose the answers that suit them well.
• Side with them often to earn their hearts (especially options in conversations excluding your character)
• Do not be possessive
• Remain positive throughout their situations (Saying thank-you, asking if they had meals, state you will do your best
• You will eventually learn your character is going to be experiencing issues with themselves. You must be by their side and support them.
• Do not betray RFA as a whole. Trust everyone (excluding Unknown)

Check back hourly. You'll normally get 9-12 chat rooms a day, and if you miss any you have to pay with hourglasses.
Update: It turns out that the chat rooms are scheduled at specific times. You can check the Mystic Messenger wiki for this, but this will spoil the names of conversations, which may be crucial.

Endings per character:
1 Good Ending - Enough guests are invited to the party
1 Normal Ending - Not enough guests
3 Bad Endings - This is based off the character and their experiences. Use the tips above for whoever's route you've taken.

Free Hourglasses: After you've successfully finished a normal or good ended route, you should have the invited guests' and more information on them. When you start a new story, Go to the guests-icon (not the emails, the one below it) and tap the guests you've successfully invited. Click "Story" and you will get a brief cut scene with one of them RFA members describing the character. You will get a free hourglass per guest you've received and have read their story.

*Another way to earn free hourglasses is by using the gold heart currency. Tap the plus sign besides the hourglass currency, and the top option exchanges 100 gold hearts for 1 hourglass. So far this is the only known use for the hearts.
