Ho-Ho-Holy shit, as edgy as this seems, I quite enjoy guro/gore! I actually draw some occasionally.

I used to look up guro artworks every so often. I got bored of it though.

Firstly, as I am sure to be a pretty much sane person I don't enjoy real guro or gore stuff.
But as "art" (photography, drawing, 3D modeling and such) I'm fine with it.
I thought it was really interesting, also fascinating how I was more of attracted to it rather than disgusted for no particular reason.

I think I got into guro thanks to Krooked Glasses (artist), she used to run a blog about a ship in Hetalia. I absolutely fell in love with her art style, I was looking for interesting cartoon art style and I just went on looking through the entire blog, and then followed her on her social media since she's gave up the blog since then.


During the time I was discovering guro, I went on looking in various websites, and at the end I got disgusted by the ero side of it. In particular the cannibalism side. I didn't like how most of the artworks featured explicit naked girls.
However, I did find some interesting drawings, those mixed with bright colours were my favourite ones. How can something supposed to be gore, turn out to be so bright and lovely ?
It was like they were taking gore as a joke and death and suicide weren't a bad thing.

I'd like to share the few artworks I saved in a folder but I'm pretty sure it would violate the policy rules. I hoped I could have gotten some help because I can't find the original artists, some had interesting art styles.

but I don't mind tame gore in art. Like ribcages showing and holding hearts.

I don't like the type where it shows a person suffering from getting mutilated, poisoned, raped and shows cutesy pastel stuff around it.
I just don't like that kind of stuff.

People can like whatever they like though, i'm not gonna stop them; but I still find it deviant.
