This voter tab is not to call out or offend moderators. I bet there are plenty of active mods when I'm not online, but everyone i talk to has very bad experiences with most moderators. Spamming death threats and saying racist slang should trigger some sort of system that instantly contacts mods to review the situation. Even so, they should be humble and respond players trying to contact them. I recommend Tigg to review the work of these mods and see if they are fit to work as a moderator. |

honestly, i feel like mods do their work, just not all of it is publicly seen. being a mod requires a lot of teamwork and communicating with members within the team, especially when there's an offense that's quite iffy. |

If I posted a "Moderators are not permitted to vote" , 90% of the pro mod votes would been gone. Please don't skew the results. This is clearly depicting a problem in game. |

Moderators get tons of whispers and duties so I suppose they're actif but they're so overloaded they don't get a chance of replying to a wishper you send them ... and let's not speak of the false reports of some mice. Dernière modification le 1495722540000 |

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had a good experience with the moderation team. Moderators receive many reports and whispers and I can assure you that we do try our best to respond to both. We are human and can only work on one report at a time, so we may not respond immediately due to the number of reports coming to us at once. If you don't think we are paying attention to your reports you can try encouraging others in the room to report rule-breaking behaviour. The more reports we receive, the quicker we will respond. |

I think almost all moderators and sentinels work sincerely..... Even though there are few exceptions ( I had an experience ; not mentioning their names ) |

Pyjin a dit : As an ex-moderator I agree 100% with this. Also, moderators are nothing but players that want to help the game so they're not supposed to be checking reports 24 hours a day. They have the right to enjoy the game too. Lets also keep in mind they are volunteers, which means they're not getting paid to ban/mute players that are breaking the rules. |

As said above, Moderators are not paid for doing "their job", so you can't blame them for having fun playing this game. After all, if it's not even a official job, it means they are players too, just like you. The difference is that they're trying to make this game better not only for them, but for other players too. I'm not a member of any Staff here at Atelier801, but I already saw a print, in which a Moderator was showing his/her chat. God, it was an absolute mess. I don't think I could answer any of those without actually making mistakes because of the pure pressure of a mass of people asking for you to do something. So, really, don't blame them if you didn't have a decent experience with one or mode Moderators. They are players too, they have friends in this game too, and, most important, they are humans too, so they can't be perfect. |

reinterating what others say because woahie i'm original! it's volunteer work, and working just out of wanting to help the community should be thanked by itself on its own. the game is huge, and the amount of moderators that it has makes it more troubled for them as they're constantly whispered and messaged ingame. and i'm sure that they want to help and they do their best to help in their powers, but remember that the staff have to follow guidelines and can only do so much to help people. they're great guys and i've talked to a good few of them, absolute sweethearts, same with the sentinels, but nowadays it's easy to fake situations and they want to be able to justfully handle situations instead of handling it like a 'he said-she said' sort of deal. big game, few mods, lots of busy work for them and even so if they aren't able to respond to your pm i'm sure they would if they weren't already swamped. they mean well, and i doubt that they'd do this simply to just have a yellow name or to have the title held above their head. |

It depends. You get the good ones and then you get the ones who are about as useful and unbiased as a chocolate teapot on a hot summers day. They're working for free, what you pay for is what you get - you'd get much better moderator results when you hire one from an agency or a company which specialise in providing moderators. But that can be expensive, Sulake would pay up around $20 dollars an hour just for one moderator and I think CP paid around $30 dollars per hour with 200 moderators, and this is probably a much cheaper alternative - Transformice moderators seem to have more freedom too and other companies aren't so flexible with their moderators, you'd have to work a certain amount of hours or you'll get fired in other websites so the pay would be less considering the freedom of the moderators. Moderators on other sites also have to fill out long reports, and don't have much power just in case they fuck up somehow. Hiring members from the community always has it's drawbacks such as the moderators expressing favouritism, lots of drama and what not. But it is pretty impressive they've hold it together for so long judging by the scale of how big Transformice is - a lot of websites and forums that I know have had lots of drama to do with moderators disagreeing and then taking it out on the community and website. There's a lot of negative opinions formed on them because people were banned 'unfairly' (not seen a case yet which i disagree with why they got banned.) and because their friends were banned unfairly. Of course you're going to see a hacker in a room and they're not going to be banned, simply because they're volunteers and not professionals and thinly stretched regarding their skill level. People shouldn't have such high expectations. That's my view anyway. They should still be criticised however, and hiring moderators who want to play the game too as well as moderate is a very poor choice. |

I think the mods are OK. They could be paying more attention tk all the reports they get, sometimes it's annoying when they don't. But for the most part, they're fine. |

Mods are ok... But when I was bullied to far I wanted to do suicide. They did not care... And it was all on cefa... They told me to kill my self in whispers they would never leave me alone and till this day every time I log on they whisper me. I have to do ./silents And mods just don't care... They did worse things but if I say them I will be suspended. |

Kittens65 a dit : alright, but killing yourself over some trolls on a mouse game shouldn't be your ideal way to die, honestly. please remember moderators are humans too and are bombarded with many whispers and reports at the same time. it's not that they don't care, it's they already have enough problems on their hands to take care of and unfortunately cannot assist you the way you expected them to. using /silence and /ignore are your best options of getting away from them. sucks they got away for what they did, though. i'm pretty sure that would've been a ban for more than a few days if they were caught. |
