So the cursing filter... Yes, I don't agree with cursing on TFM, I have in enabled but curses, sexual words and such are still going through. I don't like having curses in my chat so having this enabled really helps me but it's hard to play seeing curses. I hope this can get fixed soon!

It's not my age that is the problem I just want the terrible filter to be fixed.

personally, i do feel like the language filter should be improved. it only censors some words, but not most. i'm not saying every dirty word and varients in the dictionary should be added because that would be impossible. the most common words should be good.

When people add in to their curse it doesn't censor that.

i personally don't have a problem with cursing so i have the filter off, but i know how bad it is.

I had the filter on before and only like two curses and total were censored lmao so I agree man

The filter is a useful feature for those who want every bad word censored, but it needs a lot of improrovement.
I never use it tho, i love some good ol' shitty insults here & there

players will find ways around the filters no matter how many new words are added

No matter what curse word is being used, it doesnt work for me no matter what. Yeah it definitely needs a improvement alright

Another situation : when you turn on language filter you can see some curse words are censored if it is posted in cafe. But when if you quote that word, you can see it uncensored most of the times.

It should be worked on, there are many words uncensored obviously, and yes you can't censor every varient, but still.

Even though I really don't care for cursing, I have to agree that the filter could be improved.

Well it sure is annoying but people can easily find a work around that's why mods exist if it comes to the point insults and cursing is rough and heavy. Mods will deal with it.


But I sure would love to see an update to the filter.
