This thread is dedicated to any sketches, doodles, or unfinished works I create.
I sketch almost exclusively in pen and only use pencil when doing assignments.
I will try to post frequently.


This is an example of a sketch done in exclusively pen. I did this while testing out a new pen.


This is an example where the original sketch was done in pencil and partially completed with pen.
It is supposed to depict a man who had fortunately discovered three magic lamps. He now contemplates his first wish while the genies impatiently wait for his command.


This is an example of an amalgamated sketch page. These usually have no direction or theme, and individual sketches will often overlap.
The man-serpent is named Bruno. He has no story of his own as of right now.
The one-earred, three-eyed creature has no name, nor a story.

This is an idea for a masked creature. The girl it accompanies is named Soap, you will be seeing her often.

This was done in blue pen without any planning. It once again depicts Soap and a gigantic one-eyed monster appropriately named "One-Eye".
The action I had in mind was that One-Eye slams his face into a mountain pah while in pursuit of Soap, causing a large amount of destruction.
It isn't finished and I don't think it ever will be.

This is a piece depicting Soap and the main antagonist of her story. It was done last year with a blue pen, black pen, and red pen. No guidelines were used.
The story, as it was then, involved Soap's dreams. They were usually strange and nonsensical like most, but were soon enveloped by the many armed figure whom pursues her. She is captured and cannot wake up. The figure cannot explain himself in a sensical way, at first spurting a seemingly random pattern of words. After his monologue, he induces Soap to fall asleep within the dream, further sharpening her subconscious, abstract ideas, bringing forth horrible creatures and creating vast expanses of craggy terrain.
That is about as far as I've been able to progress it.

I did this with a cheap pen, a pen made for drawing, and colored pencils. It was put to grayscale to add a bit more contrast.

This was done with pencil and pen. There was no real motivation to the story, but it is an elder teaching a story of a monster to the youth. The elder creates a shadow that resembles a bear-like creature with a single eye.

These are designs for creatures that have no home. They travel vast distances without familial ties or worry, seeking out whatever they believe to be their purpose in life.
This was done in only pen, as usual.

Done in all pen, as usual. Eyes are done in red pen, the chest is done in colored pencil.

This is another monster i made for my younger brothers.
I sketched with pencil first before my linework, like the rest of you mortals. Colored pencil was used for the body, mouth, and eye.
