I don't know about you but I'm starting to run in to people to "stop swearing". If you are "one of those people" lol I don't want to offend you but here is a short rant about this. It gets on my nerves when people say this for... 1...3...4? Yeah, 4 reasons.
1. This is a 13+ game
2. It's not against the rules to swear
3. You can leave
4. You can ignore/silence the player
So I don't know about you but I honestly don't see a side to the people who say "don't swear" I mean, being honest I haven't really thought about it too much but... Yeah.
I know this is probably a thread somewhere out there but I did some light searching and didn't find anything.

It's not really a 13+ game, it is recommended though.

You can't simply mute a player like a mod would, but there are /ignore and /silence* commands.

You are free to ask people to not swear and they are free to do so or not, fair and square.

If it is recommended from 13 years and up then it is a 13+ game.

I meant /ignore. Thanks for pointing that out! I will change that :)

Agreed. I'm not going to be all clean just for one person who says "UM, you can't say that, that is a BAD WORD".

1. Transformice is reccomended for 13+.
2. Well, it sort of is? Like, you can swear, but not excessively if I remember that correctly
3.agree
4.agree

apart from those two i agree with you on this.

You can't get away from swearing on the internet anyway. If they can't handle swear words, they're probably too young and shouldn't be on the game, they probably know their parents wouldn't appreciate them playing the game.

I totally agree with you, if a person or younger person doesn't like the use of swearing, they can simply use that one feature to mute the chat in all. If they don't want to, I would just ignore so :l You basically have the reasons.

I do not have any respect for people who swear after each two words, however I can handle swearing just fine.

I agree with Syrius, if someone "overswears" it becomes just obnoxious and pulls down the level of conversations. If someone swears ironically for comedic value I can understand, but if someone gets upset from just a bit of swearing then Alfiecakes is spot-on. In short; swearing's ok as long as you don't overdo it.

I'm not sure if excessive swearing is against the rules, I'm sure it is, but excessive/severe insulting is against the rules so I'd assume they're in the same category together.

people should stop getting triggered and offended by everything

like if you can't handle swear then you should go to your safe space and stop using the internet

https://i.hizliresim.com/P7El3O.jpg

just use the /ignore command if you don't want to hear from someone and stop telling people what not to do, since everyone is taking the responsibility of their actions in game or on forums (assuming it's not your child who swears)

I don't mind most swearing but I can't tolerate people who use the R word. It's very disrespectful for people with disabilities. This isn't about being "triggered", it's about being a decent human being.

Eh, I mean... not everyone who don't like curse words are little kids. I know there are quite a few adults who hate swearing with a passion. I can understand this, as there are other ways to let your emotions out than just swearing or cursing someone out. Also, I personally lose respect for those who curse in nearly every sentence they speak or type.

Don't get me wrong, I curse as well, but I don't do it nearly as often as others. I mainly do it when I'm upset with myself or quoting someone, though. When I want to curse, I usually just censor it using the word "heck".

For those who have an issue with swearing, then yes, they could just simply use /ignore, or leave the room. There's no point in telling people to not swear, especially since it only makes them want to do it more.
