A few days ago, I decided make a topic on the e2 cafe. The topic asked "what should be added to or changed in the café?'''. I got quite a few suggestions, but I feel like the conversation should have just ended there. So now I ask you: what should be added to or changed in the cafe?



This topic is not about removing the cafe. There is already a thread for those of you who want to debate whether it should be removed. All posts made here should be made under the assumption cafe is going to remain and be improved at some point.

I like all of these suggestions except the "old like system," the clicking pfp to open the player's profile thing, and the fonts and effects cause UH knowing the cafe they'd all probably spam some eye blinding colors into my face ??if colors were even part of the font effects thing
Just my personal opinion though

i liked the old like system a lot more, it was easier & i actually remembered to like stuff that i liked

why would it need to cost cheese/fraises?

If it's not to be removed, then what it needs ASAP is a report system because contacting the mods through whatever medium (whispers, Discord, etc.) is honestly just plain annoying and ineffective; not many players actually bother to contact a staff member and it's more problematic to deal with for the moderators too. The rest of the ideas can wait in my opinion, at least until the core content itself can be moderated efficiently.

asides from the moronic comments of asking the same thing to delete which is fuck-on ridiculous, i think it needs a report function and some specific couple mods who would watch over the cafe and the reports itself since at times that place just gets dark or toxic.

it would be cool if cafe had a prestige system similar to the forum since you can already like comments on cafe

Yes because such a system would not be abused at all by farmers and trolls. /s

Maybe show which people are online/offline?
Deleting topics (or does that belong to the "Edit function")
Oh and @ mentions where when you're not on the cafe tab you will still be notified if someone writes your user? Downside to that is you could get spammed (also depends on where those notifications will be displayed)

I mean... I haven’t used Café in a long time, but I guess it needs more moderators...?
I can still remember those racist topics on April Fools Day...
