and i received an email for it. seems legit and the link does go to this Atelier801 website, but i didn't do any validation in Transformice. all i did was play Transformice a bit yesterday.

i didn't even know it's possible to validate an account in Transformice??? how do you even do that? how was this "validation" even triggered by anyone in the game? and my account don't seem to be hacked otherwise my email and password would be changed by now?

Are u sure it wasn't u? If I remember right, u receive an email after u create an acc to validate it by pasting the code u receive in the respective blank space

i validated my Atelier account on this website a looooooooooong time ago. in 2020 or something.

that email/screenshot i posted was sent on 24th May 2022. that email also had a "Transformice" prefix in the Subject, which wasn't in my old emails which i kept after changing passwords on this website.

I'd change your password to be safe, in the meantime
Even though I know I've validated my own account before, when I go to my settings page now, it's asking me to validate again to change any of my account details

So it's possible the person has your password, signed in, and tried to validate to edit your password? Unsure, but better safe than sorry
